    摘要: A process for producing a water-absorbing resin, which comprises polymerizing (D) an aqueous solution comprising (A) at least one monomer component selected from the group consisting of an unsaturated carboxylic acid and salts thereof; (B) a compound having two or more unsaturated groups in a molecule; and (C) a compound having two or more functional groups which are capable of reacting with carboxyl groups in a molecule, the polymerization being conducted in such a manner that the following conditions (a) to (c) are simultaneously satisfied: (a) the molar ratio (B)/(C) being in the range of from 2×10−3 to 300, (b) the polymerization being initiated by a redox polymerization initiator, and (c) the maximum reaction temperature being in the range of from 60° to 100° C., and a water-absorbing resin having a degree of reduction in absorption magnification of from 1 to 16, and n absorption magnification under pressure of from 20 to 40.

    摘要: When a discharge lamp repeatedly flickers out after illuminating for a long period of time because the same discharge lamp is nearing the end of its usage lifetime, a stored voltage of a capacitor rises gradually every time the discharge lamp flickers out. When the stored voltage of the same capacitor becomes no less than a predetermined voltage, a comparator generates a high level voltage which actuates a transistor. The transistor then terminates the operations of a PWM circuit to deactuate the discharge lamp.

In a method of assembling a scroll compression device 1 comprising a scroll compression mechanism 11 having a fixed scroll 23 and a swing scroll 25 and a driving motor 13 that is connected to the scroll compression mechanism 11 through a driving shaft 15 to drive the scroll compression mechanism 11, the scroll compression mechanism and the DC motor being accommodated in a casing, the scroll compression mechanism 11 is supported in the casing 3 by a main frame 21, a rotor 39 of the driving motor 13 is magnetized, compressed gas which prevails against magnetic force caused by the magnetization and makes the swing scroll swingable is made to act on a discharge side of the scroll compression mechanism so that the swing scroll makes a swing motion and the swing scroll and the fixed scroll are centered after the rotor 39 is magnetized, and then the fixed scroll is positioned to the main frame.
