    摘要： A food imprinting cassette means comprising a flexible image imprintable foodstuff sheet attached to a support means for said sheet of foodstuff, a transfer sheet having an edible coloring material coated on the side of the transfer sheet facing the food sheet with said transfer sheet attached to a peripheral frame which in turn is releasably attached to the support means. The coloring material being transferable to the food sheet when pressure from a stylus is applied to the transfer sheet.

    摘要： A microwave radio terminal capable of multiple gigabits/sec bit rate is provided. The radio terminal may use QAM modulation, including the two lowest modulation formats of BPSK and QPSK. The serial bit stream, including forward error correction (FEC) and all other overhead, is prepared in a digital circuit, such as a filed programmable gate array (FPGA) and is output serially, using SERDES devices inside the FPGA, as two separate channels known as “I-channel” and “Q-channel”.

    摘要： A tunable element in the microwave frequency range is described that may include one or more tunable elements that are directly digitally controlled by a digital bus connecting a digital control circuit to each controlled element. In particular, each digital signal is filtered by a digital isolation technique so that the signal reaches the tunable elements with very low noise. The low noise digital signals are then converted to analog control voltages. The direct D/A conversion is accomplished by a special D/A converter which is manufactured as an integral part of a substrate. This D/A converter in accordance with the invention may consist of a resistor ladder or a directly digitally controlled capacitor. The direct digitally controlled capacitor may be a cantilevered type capacitor having multiple separate electrodes or sub-plates representing binary bits that may be used to control the capacitor. A low cost microwave oscillator is disclosed in which some of the filters and oscillators are direct digitally tuned elements.

    摘要： A method of multiplexing multiple terminals in a distributed network includes transporting user traffic and telephony signaling information. Transporting user traffic includes converting the user traffic into ATM cells, passing the ATM cells over a wireless link to a TDM port in an ATM multiplexer wherein the ATM multiplexer includes an ATM circuit emulation service, and converting the ATM cells into user traffic. Transporting telephony signaling information includes extracting the telephony signaling information from a user interface, passing the telephony signaling information to a base station using an ATM virtual circuit, processing and aggregating a number of telephony signaling information into a single channel, and transmitting the single channel to the ATM multiplexer.

    摘要： In an apparatus for reproducing images onto foodstuffs or the like, and the process for performing such operation, a housing includes the various electronic controls for sequencing the operations of the apparatus, a turntable for holding the especially prepared foodstuff or sheet upon which the image is to be scribed is located upon the turntable, a supporting device disposed for uniform rotation with the turntable holds the photograph or other pictorial member from which the image for reproduction is derived, the combination of light and optical members for illuminating and visually directing the reproducible image to the photosensitive means that cooperates in combination with the electronic controls for precisely manipulating an electromechanical or electronic scribing instrument for either directly or through transfer paper a reproducing of a facsimile of the pictorial image directly onto the foodstuff or the like; the foodstuff or related composition upon which the image is reproduced may comprise a fibrous material, preferably edible, and including in combination of manufacturers confections mixed with a fibrous composition, or the like, so that it can be easily manipulated and handled either manually or by machine prior to, during, and after imaging processing, and can be likewise applied, as for example, to the surface of a cake to be consumed therewith; a cassette including a combination of the specially prepared foodstuff, and the transfer paper from which one or more colors may be transferred by means of the stylus or etching device to the surface of the foodstuff has been devised to facilitate the routine usage of this imaging producing apparatus either domestically, commercially, or industrially during its intended application.
