Abstract: Accordingly embodiments herein achieve signaling method and system (2000) for provisioning signalling in an Integrated Access Backhaul (IAB) network (1000). The method includes providing a set of modifications in uplink and downlink signaling for an IAB node (100). The modifications either help to reduce the control channel payload or enable more flexible signaling of resources, improve efficient control channel scheduling and also avoid conflicts that might arise due to discrepancies between semi static and dynamic resource allocation.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of signalling in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) network. The method comprises signalling metrics from a parent IAB node to a child IAB node for association of the child IAB node with the parent IAB node. Information related to multiplexing capability and supported modes of operation is signalled from the child IAB node to the parent IAB node. An active mode of operation is determined at the child IAB node. Timing Advance (TA) for each active mode of operation, guard information for each active mode of operation, and exchanges for In-Band Full Duplexing (IBFD) mode of operation are signalled. Further, fallback capability of IAB nodes during presence of Self-Interference (SI) is also signalled.

Abstract: The embodiments described herein provide a method and system for improve link adoption performance in wireless networks. The method for modifying the MCS index for transmission using a computed offset is provided. The offset is calculated based on HARQ feedback of transmissions. A transition probability matrix with plurality of MCS indices is used for selecting the MCS index for transmission based on the highest probability of transition. A pattern sequence of MCS indices is formed and the presence of the pattern is determined in the history of the HARQ transmissions. The frequency of the pattern presence is also determined and the MCS index is selected for the HARQ transmissions. A frequency database of MCS indices is built using source encoding techniques. The transition probabilities that are estimated from the frequency database along with a cost function associated with each MCS index will be used to compute next MCS index.

Abstract: Precoding for multiple transmission streams in multiple antenna systems. Disclosed herein is a general method that transmits signal from multiple antennas using a one/two dimensional precoder. This precoder is fixed in a given resource block (RB) or slot, which is composed of P subcarriers and Q OFDM symbols (where the values for P and Q are greater than or equal to 1). The precoder in each resource block may take same or different values, which span the two dimensional time-frequency grid. The precoder is chosen as a function of either logical frequency index or physical frequency index of the RB.

Abstract: The present invention relates to method of energy saving in a cellular network. The method comprises configuring, by the Base Station (BS), different periodicity for at least one Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) beam of a plurality of SSB beams in an SSB burst, based on the load on the network. The method includes transmitting, by the BS, a relaxed signal in less number of time and frequency resources than the resources used for an SSB. The method further includes indicating sleep states of the BS to a User Equipment (UE) to reduce unwanted monitoring of resources. The method also includes determining, by the BS, active number of ports and indicating, to the UE, active ports using a parameter. The method further includes dynamically determining, by the BS, transmit power of downlink (DL) signal and DL channel, and signalling a parameter about the transmit power to the UE.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of reducing blind decoding attempts by a User Equipment (UE) in a telecommunication network. The method comprises configuring a Search Space (SS) configuration to the UE. A Base Station (BS) signals one of a subset of Aggregation Levels (ALs) to be monitored based on channel quality of the UE and an associated time period, and a value of multiplication factor (k) and an associated time period. The UE iteratively monitors a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) on the ALs signalled by the BS till the UE stops receiving a new configuration. The UE performs one of adopting an original configuration, requesting the BS for a new configuration, utilizing a default configuration or utilizing an original configuration.

Abstract: A method for performing signaling in a multi Transmission/Reception Point (TRP) wireless communication system is described. The TCI field comprises at least one bit to indicate the code-point of the MAC-CE. The second node (104) activates the TCI state based on the DCI. The second node (104) performs at least one of a Downlink (DL) reception and an Uplink (UL) transmission using the TCI state activated.
