摘要: A self-locking electronic lock system is illustrated in association with safe doors having a door locking bolt works manipulated between door open and door locked positions by a door mounted handle. The bolt works includes a link which moves the door bolts and in turn is locked by an electronic lock in accordance with the present disclosure. The electronic lock has a spring bias bolt normally biased into a locking gate provided on the link and is operated to a withdrawn position by an associated digital input electronic signal generating means. A lost motion connection is provided between an electric motor of the lock and the lock bolt such that the motor withdraws the lock bolt on entry of a correct combination to the digital input means and the lock bolt is biased back into locking engagement with the link gate by operation of an operator closing the safe door and manipulating the door handle to throw the door bolts into engagement with the safe door jamb, the electronic lock bolt automatically locking up with the bolt works link to prevent reopening of the door until the combination is entered again due to the bias of the lock bolt toward the link gate.

摘要: A combination lock is provided with an additional security lock wherein an electrically operable solenoid, having an armature post normally biased outwardly of a solenoid body is mounted to the combination lock housing so as to position the armature post normally to block movement of either the combination lock bolt or the bolt release lever associated with the bolt. An electrical signal generator which may be an electrical switch, electronic lock mechanism or other electrical signal generating means, is provided for selectively operating the solenoid to retract the post from a bolt and/or bolt release lever blocking position to thereafter allow operation of the combination lock in an otherwise standard mechanical manipulation or electronic digital input of the main combination lock.

摘要: A locking system enabling selective handle turning direction to operate an unlocking mechanism is provided. The system comprises a handle, a gear rack driven linearly by rotation of the handle, and a plate removably coupled to the gear rack by a coupling means, wherein the plate moves in a first linear direction in response to handle rotation. When the coupling means is in a first position to couple the plate to the gear rack, a clockwise rotation of the handle displaces the plate in the first linear direction. When the coupling means is in a second position to couple the plate to the gear rack, a counter-clockwise rotation of the handle displaces the plate in the first linear direction. Movement of the plate in the first direction operates the unlocking mechanism.

摘要: A multi-function door lock system, comprising in combination, a frame having opposite sides, and installable on a door openable between an interior space and an exterior space, a deadbolt and a door latch carried by the frame to move between retracted and extended positions, a first rotary control located at one level on the frame to control deadbolt movement between extended and retracted positions via primary cam mechanism, a second rotary control at another level on the frame to control latch movement between extended and retracted positions, via secondary cam mechanism, means operatively connected between said secondary cam mechanism and the primary cam mechanism to effect deadbolt movement as aforesaid, in response to operation of the second rotary control, as effected via rotary input to the second rotary control from only one side of the frame. Means is also provided to be responsive to reverse rotation of the first rotary control to effect latch retraction independently of deadbolt displacement.

摘要: An electronic lock for a safe door is provided with a digital keypad entry device, a mechanical bolt works and associated handle for retracting the door bolts, and a spring biased rotary bolt which engages and precludes operation of the bolt works, such that upon entry of the predetermined code into the entry device, an electric signal causes a solenoid to energize and retract its armature from a blocking position relative the rotary bolt, further enabling the rotary bolt to rotate against its bias in response to mechanical maniupulation of the handle by the user to retract the door bolts. Unauthorized operation of the safe handle causes the rotary bolt to be locked into a fixed position, preventing entry into the safe.

摘要: A coin roll dispensing mechanism for use in dispensing coin rolls from a safe, the mechanism includes a coin roll dispenser for selectively distributing individual coin rolls, electrically operated solenoids to prevent operation of the dispenser and a first electrically operated combination entry device to disengage the solenoids. The safe door has a door handle, a plurality of bolts, a bolt works to manipulate the bolts, and electronic lock to restrict manipulation of the bolt works and a second electrically operated combination entry device to disengage the electronic lock. Upon entry of a first code sequence, the user can select a coin roll to be dispensed. To unlock the safe, a second code sequence is entered, which disables the electronic lock, allowing manual manipulation of the door handle.
