    摘要: A door lock with controllable handle operation including a bolt (3), a follower (5) for moving the bolt and an operation axis (4), on both ends of which an actuator can be installed for operating the follower (5), whereby force transmission from either side of the lock to the follower (5) is established by means of movable coupling members (10a, 10b), which are controlled by a solenoid arrangement (8, 9) or the like, and in which the follower (5) is provided with two separate torsion units (6a, 6b) installed on the operation axis (4) on different sides of the follower (5) and turnably secured thereto, which units can be connected to force transmission with the follower (5) by utilising said coupling members (10a, 10b). The door lock comprises a selecting member (7) movable from one lock side to the other, which member retains the torsion unit (6a, 6b) selected in each case to be unturnable with respect to the follower (5), so that force transmission from the operation axis (4) to the follower (5) is connected on that particular side of the lock, and on the other side of the lock, force transmission from the operation axis (4) to the follower (5) can be selectively either connected or disconnected by means of said coupling members (10a, 10b) under the control of the solenoid arrangement (8, 9).

    摘要: Electronic access control of a seldom-used outdoor security enclosure, such as a key vault, is provided by a vault lid and key system whereby the procedure for opening the enclosure occurs in two stages. One stage is a low-force stage provided by electromechanical mechanisms housed within the lid and energized by a relatively low power source. The high-force stage is provided by a human operator applying manual force to open the lid. The system is particularly adapted for security enclosures that are exposed to an outdoor environment and not operated for extended periods of time.

    摘要: An electronic combination lock is disclosed which allows access to a closed or secure location wherein the lock includes a locking mechanism for operating between a locked condition and an unlocked condition. A rotatable cam wheel has a circumferential surface portion defining a slot such that rotation of the cam wheel moves the slot. A moveable lever is coupled to the locking mechanism for changing the condition of the locking mechanism from the locked condition to the unlocked condition and is pivotably movable into and out of engagement with the cam wheel. The movable lever engages the cam wheel such that rotation of the cam wheel changes the condition of the locking mechanism. A cantilever and detent on the lever releasably maintain the lever in a position disengaged from the cam wheel. A solenoid and projectable detent moves the lever from its disengaged position for engaging the lever with the cam wheel so that rotation of the cam wheel changes the locking mechanism from the locked condition to the unlocked condition.
