Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for line of sight (LOS) multiple input multiple output (MIMO) signaling aspects are described. In some examples, a wireless device may transmit, to a network device, a capability message indicating that the wireless device supports a LOS mode. In such examples, the wireless device may receive, from the network device in response to the capability message, a control message indicating activation of the LOS mode and at least one LOS mode parameter based at least in part on a channel measurement associated with a wireless channel between the wireless device and the network device indicating that the wireless channel satisfies a LOS path criterion. In some examples, the wireless device may communicate a message with the network device in accordance with the LOS mode parameter.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to a second wireless device using a first antenna array at the first wireless device and in accordance with a first precoder matrix. The first wireless device may receive, from the second wireless device based on the one or more reference signals, a feedback message indicating an estimated rotational misalignment, an estimated spatial misalignment, or both, between the first antenna array at the first wireless device and a second antenna array at the second wireless device. The first wireless device may then transmit a message to the second wireless device in accordance with a second precoder matrix that is modified relative to the first precoder matrix based at least in part on the estimated rotational misalignment, the estimated spatial misalignment, or both.

Abstract: A radar system may comprise a first wireless communications system Transmission Reception Point (TRP)configured as a transmitter for sending a transmit signal toward a target, a second wireless communications system TRP configured as a receiver for receiving an echo signal corresponding to a reflection of the transmit signal from the target, and a radar server. The first wireless communications system TRP and the second wireless communications system TRP may be part of a cellular communications system. The second wireless communications system TRP may be configured to generate one or more measurement reports containing one or more of delay, Doppler frequency, and/or angle-of-arrival information. The second wireless communications system TRP may be configured to send the one or more measurement reports to an entity within the cellular communications system.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to adjust a random access message that is transmitted to a base station in an asynchronous uplink transmission. The UE may use a constrained mapping of time and frequency resources for the random access message or transmit all portions of the message in a continuous transmission. The UE may also adjust the timing of the portions of the message. The base station may use a portion of the message, such as a preamble, to perform channel estimation for another portion of the message, such as a payload, to improve decoding of the transmitted message. Additionally, the UE may configure a waveform of the message to improve the continuous transmission of the message, for example by reducing interference between portions of the message.
