Abstract:
A system for online monitoring powder-based 3D printing processes and method thereof are disclosed. A uniform light source having a single wavelength provided by the system is irradiated onto the powder layer before and after applied with glue. Intensities of such reflected images are obtained and subtracted from each other in an image process procedure. A difference obtained through the subtraction is compared with an original 3D model in a computer. If any defect is found such as being larger than a threshold value, the powder-based 3D printing processes will be terminated. Therefore, the technical effects of online printing processes monitoring, time saving and printing resources saving will be achieved.

An earthquake early warning method for an earthquake detecting system includes utilizing support vector regression (SVR) method to build an earthquake detecting model according to the a plurality of vectors, wherein each of the vectors is corresponding to an earthquake information and a ground motion intensity; detecting a new earthquake information of a new earthquake and generating a specific vector according to the new earthquake information when the new earthquake occurs; and predicting a new ground motion intensity of the new earthquake according to the specific vector and the earthquake detecting model.

The present invention provides an acceleration method for database using index value operation and mixed-mode leveled cache. While building a database, an algorithm is adopted for operating a plurality of field conditions and giving an index value. At least a file record in the database satisfying the plurality of field conditions is related to the index value. While querying, the input plurality of field conditions are operated using the algorithm, giving the index value. According to the index value, the file records in the database satisfying the plurality of field conditions are listed. Thereby, the time for comparing the plurality of fields can be saved.

The present invention provides a liquid level measuring device which comprises: a tube for accommodating a liquid; a floating member disposed inside the tube, the floating member rising and falling as the level of the liquid varies; at least one magnetic detecting element fastened to the floating member, the magnetic detecting element floating along with the floating member; and a plurality of magnetic sources disposed outside the tube, which are distributed separately along the changing direction of the liquid level so as to establish a specific magnetic field strength distribution, wherein the magnetic detecting element detects the magnetic field strength at the height at which the magnetic detecting element is located and outputs a measuring signal correspondingly, and the liquid level is determined according to the measuring signal. The present invention has many advantages including low cost, efficiency, and it can easily be deployed in considerable amounts.

The conventional white-light interferometer, confocal microscope, and ellipsometer are integrated as one device set in a functional sense, and the geometrical parameters conventionally measured may be deduced on the integrated device. Thus, the advantages and efficacies of equipment cost saving, on-line measuring, rapid monitoring, reduced manufacturing time, and reduced possibility of object damage during the manufacturing process may be secured, compared with the prior art.

A solid-state light source module that is utilized to be arranged in at least one dimension to form a solid-state lighting system is provided. The solid-state light source module includes a main body, a signal input interface, a signal output interface, a solid-state light source, and a control unit. The signal input interface is utilized to receive at least one location input command. The signal output interface is utilized to issue a location output command. The control unit is utilized to add one to the second location input command to serve as the location output command, and to control luminosity of the solid-state light source. A solid-state lighting system and an operating method thereof are also provided.

Disclosed is a medicine box counter, which comprise a case body, comprising a bottom seat, an upper cap movably combined with the case body, and a plurality of resilient elements disposed between the bottom seat and the upper cap. As such, the medicine and the bottom seat are directly combined so that when the user exerts a pressure upon the upper cap in the use course, the resilient elements may be indirectly extruded and thus the bottom seat triggers the count mechanism to count, and after the pressure on the upper cap is released, the upper cap automatically restores to its original position by means of the resilient elements, whereby achieving the efficacies of rapid assembly, convenient use, effective medicine-taken count and reduced manufacturing cost are provided.

In a method for monitoring water level of a water body, a monitoring system is configured to: capture a current image that has a portion of the water body, and a remaining portion aside from the portion of the water body; process the current image into a processed image that includes a water body region corresponding to the portion of the water body, and a background region corresponding to the remaining portion of the current image; mark, on the processed image, a plurality of virtual alert points according to a predetermined water level of the water body; determine whether at least one of the virtual alert points is located within the water body region of the processed image; and generate a monitoring result according to the determination thus made.
