Abstract: In an aspect, a PDCCH and a PDSCH are transmitted by a BS to a UE, whereby the PDCCH includes a first DCI part and the PDSCH includes a second DCI part (e.g., a 2-part DCI). In an example a first grant associated with the second DCI part is offset relative to a slot position of the second DCI part, whereas a second grant associated with the second DCI part is offset relative to the slot position to which the first grant is offset. In another aspect, two or more grants are grouped together, with the respective group being mapped to a PUCCH.

Abstract: Wireless communication techniques that include PTRS resource density recommendation and selection techniques are discussed. A UE may transmit to a base station a set of phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) resource density recommendations that are determined based, at least in part, on a block error rate (BLER). The base station may transmit to the UE an indication of PTRS resource densities to use for wireless communication of the PTRS based, at least in part, on the BLER associated with the received set of PTRS resource density recommendations. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) receives an initial transmission of a common codeword and a private codeword. The common codeword is common to the UE and at least one other UE. The private codeword is directed to the UE. An acknowledgement is transmitted indicative of decoding results of the common codeword and the private codeword based on results of whether the common codeword was successfully decoded and whether the private codeword was successfully decoded. At a Network Entity (NE), an initial transmission of the common codeword and the private codeword is sent and an acknowledgement is received indicative of decoding results. At least one of the common codeword or the private codeword can be retransmitted depending on the acknowledgement.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device allocated two sets of non-contiguous frequency domain resources may divide a set of modulation symbols associated with a codeword into two subsets of modulation symbols. The wireless device may map the two subsets of modulation symbols into two sets of pre-discrete Fourier transform (DFT) resource elements (REs). The wireless device may pad the pre-DFT REs according to a block based scheme or a comb based scheme. The wireless device may perform a first DFT on the first set of pre-DFT REs and a second DFT on the second set of pre-DFT REs to generate first and second sets of frequency domain samples. The wireless device may perform an inverse fast Fourier transform on the first and second sets of frequency domain samples to generate a time domain waveform that may have a low peak to average power ratio.
