Abstract: A management method includes receiving, by a first management unit, a first management request, where the first management request carries requirement information of a network slice or indication information, and the indication information is used to obtain the requirement information of the network slice. The method further includes obtaining, by the first management unit, requirement information of a first subnet based on the requirement information of the network slice, and determining, by the first management unit, requirement information of a first network resource required by the first subnet, where the requirement information of the first network resource is used to select, create, configure, activate, or request a first network resource instance that satisfies the requirement information of the first network resource.

Abstract: Embodiment techniques map parity bits to sub-channels based on their row weights. The row weight for a sub-channel may be viewed as the number of “ones” in the corresponding row of the Kronecker matrix or as a power of 2 with the exponent (i.e. the hamming weight) being the number of “ones” in the binary representation of the sub-channel index (further described below). In one embodiment, candidate sub-channels that have certain row weight values are reserved for parity bit(s). Thereafter, K information bits may be mapped to the K most reliable remaining sub-channels, and a number of frozen bits (e.g. N−K) may be mapped to the least reliable remaining sub-channels. Parity bits may then mapped to the candidate sub-channels, and parity bit values are determined based on a function of the information bits.

Abstract: A communication method and a communication apparatus are provided. The method includes: a first device first checks a first bit sequence based on a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) code, to obtain a second bit sequence; then divides the second bit sequence into P bit sequences; and generates Q codewords based on the P bit sequences, and sends the Q codewords to a second device through P transport layers. P represents a quantity of transport layers of the first device, P is greater than or equal to 2, and Q is an integer greater than or equal to 2. The first device first checks the first bit sequence based on the CRC code, and then divides the second bit sequence into the P bit sequences, that is, performs code rate allocation.
