Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configurations for a plurality of search space sets for a control resource set (CORESET), the plurality of search space sets including one or more of a first type of search space set configured with multiple frequency domain monitoring locations or a second type of search space set configured without multiple frequency domain monitoring locations. The UE may receive a physical downlink control channel communication based at least in part on monitoring the plurality of search space sets according to a determination that the CORESET is associated with search space sets of a same type. Abstract: A base station may determine a root for a sequence to be included in a signal to a UE. The base station may generate a generalized Chu sequence based on the root and scramble the generalized Chu sequence using a pseudorandom sequence that is common to a plurality of base stations. The base station may transmit the scrambled generalized Chu sequence to indicate the beginning of a downlink transmission. The UE may receive this scrambled generalized Chu sequence and determine if a beginning of a downlink transmission from a serving base station based on the received generalized Chu sequence and an expected generalized Chu sequence.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information including multiple transmission configuration indication (TCI) states associated with a control resource set (CORESET). The UE may receive, from the base station, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a region associated with the CORESET, wherein the PDCCH includes at least one control channel element (CCE). The UE may perform blind decoding for multiple configured PDCCH candidates based at least in part on a resource element group (REG) bundle included in the at least one CCE, wherein the multiple configured PDCCH candidates are associated with one or more of the multiple TC states associated with the CORESET. Accordingly, the UE may identify the PDCCH transmitted by the base station based at least in part on the blind decoding.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a base station, and a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication are provided to reduce the retransmission latency for URLLC communications. Upon receiving a downlink data transmission, a UE waits until it completes decoding of the received downlink data transmission before it can send an ACK/NAK report on the decoded downlink data transmission. In case of a decoding failure, the base station cannot start retransmission until the UE finishes the decoding of the downlink data transmission and sends the ACK/NAK report and until the base station finishes decoding of an NAK in the ACK/NAK report. This considerable retransmission latency may not meet stringent latency requirements of some URLLC applications. A two-stage ACK/NAK reporting is disclosed to reduce the retransmission latency where the UE sends an early ACK/NAK report upon partially completing the decoding of the downlink data transmission.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for multiplexing channel state information (CSI) reports in scenarios involving multiple transmit-receive points (TRPs). In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive at least one configuration that identifies a resource for multiplexing CSI reports that have a potential to collide in a slot. The UE may receive the at least one configuration from either, or both, of a first TRP or a second TRP. The UE may transmit at least one of a first set of CSI reports to the first TRP or a second set of CSI reports to the second TRP, multiplexed in the resource, according to the at least one configuration.
