摘要:
A method of updating a cache in an integrated circuit is provided. The integrated circuit has the cache, a memory, a processor connected to the cache, and a memory interface connected to the cache, memory and processor. In the method, (a) following a cache miss, first data associated with the cache miss from a first address is requested using the processor, (b) in response to the request, the first data and second data from the memory is fetched using the memory interface, where the second data is stored in the memory adjacent the first data, (c) the cache is updated with the first and second data via the memory interface, and (d) the cache is updated to mark the updated first and second data as valid.

A mobile device for printing onto a print medium in a print direction, the print medium including first coded data that encodes first information, mobile device comprising: a first sensor for sensing the first coded data; processing means for decoding the coded data and extracting at least the first information; and a printhead for printing onto the print medium, wherein the printhead is controlled to print onto the print medium at least partially on the basis of the extracted first information, and printing commences prior to all of the first information being extracted.

A mobile telecommunications device comprising: an inkjet printhead for printing to a media substrate; a drive shaft for feeding the media past the printhead; and, a print engine controller for operatively controlling the printhead; wherein during use, the print engine controller senses the number of complete and partial rotations of the media feed roller and adjusts the operation of the printhead in response to variations in the angular velocity of the drive shaft.

A printer has a printhead and a capping mechanism adapted to cap the printhead. The capping mechanism supports a blotting assembly and is connected to a powered roller of a print media feed mechanism. Initial operation of the print media feed mechanism causes the capping mechanism to move out of a capping position of the printhead.

A modular camera assembly includes a camera module configured to capture images. A flash module is configured to generate a flash when taking photographs with the camera module. A print media dispenser module is configured to store print media. A printer module is configured to print captured images on print media dispensed from the print media dispenser module. The modules are configured to connected together is a releasable manner interconnected together.

An inkjet printhead with a plurality of nozzles, a bubble forming chamber corresponding to each of the nozzles respectively, the bubble forming chambers adapted to contain ejectable liquid, a heater element positioned in each of the bubble forming chambers respectively for heating the ejectable liquid to form a gas bubble that causes the ejection of a drop of the ejectable liquid from the nozzle; and, a print engine controller for controlling the operation of the heater elements; wherein during use, the print engine controller heats the ejectable liquid with the heater element to lower its viscosity prior to a print job; and during printing, the print engine controller ensures that the time interval between successive actuations of each of the heater elements is less than a predetermined time in which the viscosity of the ejectable liquid in the increases to a threshold.
摘要:
The present invention relates to a print roll assembly. The print roll assembly includes a print roll which, in turn, includes an elongate former carrying a continuous sheet of print media. An ink supply for being received within the former is also provided, and defines a plurality of ink chambers for each receiving a respective type of ink. The assembly may further include a plurality of absorbent sponges for each being received within a respective ink chamber.
摘要:
A method of at least partially compensating for errors in ink dot placement by at least one of a plurality of nozzles due to erroneous rotational displacement of a printhead module relative to a carrier, the nozzles being disposed on the printhead module, the method comprising the steps of: (a) determining the rotational displacement; (b) determining at least one correction factor that at least partially compensates for the ink dot displacement; and (c) using the correction factor to alter the output of the ink dots to at least partially compensate for the rotational displacement.
摘要:
A printer controller for supplying dot data to at least one printhead module and at least partially compensating for errors in ink dot placement by at least one of a plurality of nozzles on the printhead module due to erroneous rotational displacement of the printhead module relative to a carrier, the printer being configured to: access a correction factor associated with the at least one printhead module; determine an order in which at least some of the dot data is supplied to at least one of the at least one printhead modules, the order being determined at least partly on the basis of the correction factor, thereby to at least partially compensate for the rotational displacement; and supply the dot data to the printhead module.
