    Abstract: Auto-focus method and a remote sensing satellite are disclosed. The satellite comprises at least a focal plane assembly (FPA) and a focus adjusting apparatus, the auto-focus method comprises: processing a point spread function (PSF) estimation to a multiple regions of a first image to generate multiple first estimated point spread functions; generating a first average point spread function according to the first estimated point spread functions; processing a Gaussian curve fitting to the first average PSF function and defining a first focus number; processing a PSF estimation to multiple regions of a second image to generate multiple second estimated PSF functions; generating a second average point spread function according to the second estimated point spread functions; processing a Gaussian curve fitting to the second average point spread function and defining a second focus number; and comparing the first focus number and the second focus number.

    Abstract: A liquid level monitoring system includes: a hardware unit with a tube to extend through a surface of a liquid; a processor unit generating control signals that respectively correspond to target frequencies; a sound generator unit generating, respectively based on the control signals, incident sound waves that transmit in the tube and that are reflected by the surface of the liquid to respectively form reflected sound waves; and a sensor unit for sensing the reflected sound waves to respectively generate feedback signals. The processor unit determines a maximum amplitude frequency based on the feedback signals, and calculates a level of the surface of the liquid based on the maximum amplitude frequency and a length of the tube.

    Abstract: The present application reveals a system for computing and a method for arranging nodes thereof, which is applied for a remote host connected with a plurality of computing nodes divided to a plurality of first nodes and second nodes due to a first computing mode and a second computing mode. After the remote host receives a job, the remote host evaluates the computing nodes in accordance with the job and a corresponding priority weight parameter to generate a job beginning data to set the first nodes or the second nodes and to proceed the job. While setting the first or the second nodes, the remote host provides the corresponding system image to the corresponding nodes; while the first or the second nodes are full in resource arrangement, the empty nodes will be converted to the supplement nodes with the corresponding system image from the remote host.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a reflective condensing interferometer for focusing on a preset focus. The reflective condensing interferometer includes a concave mirror set, a convex mirror, a light splitting element, and a reflecting element. The concave mirror set has first and second concave surface portions which are oppositely located on two sides of a central axis passing through the preset focus and are concave on a surface facing the central axis and the preset focus. Light is preset to be incident in parallel to the central axis in use. The convex mirror is disposed between the concave mirror set and the preset focus on the central axis, and is convex away from the preset focus. The light splitting element vertically intersects with the central axis between the convex mirror and the preset focus. The reflecting element is disposed between the light splitting element and the convex mirror.

    Abstract: An ultraviolet (UV) light source is provided. The device uses a high-uniformity diode array. A lens unit of collimated illumination lenses is used. A light source of UV light-emitting diode (UVLED) array is formed and passes through the lens unit to uniformly distribute the light source and obtain a collimated light. The present invention comprises a light source of UVLED array; a collimated illumination lens unit; and a substrate. The construction is simple. The present invention can be applied in the lithography of a semiconductor. The lithography forms contact lines of widths not greater than 3 microns (μm); soft-contact lines of widths of 3˜30 μm; and short-spaced lines of widths of 30˜200 μm. The present invention avoids the mask from contact wear-out for multiple uses, and further reduces the replacement rate.

    Abstract: An image-based vehicle classification system includes a camera and an image server connected to the camera. The camera captures images of a road to result in an image stream. The image server includes a processor for receiving the image stream from the camera. For each of the images of the image stream, the processor performs image segmentation, a thinning process, an erosion process and a dilation process, and classifies, by a neural network classifier, a vehicle image part contained in the image into one of a large-size car class, a passenger car class and a motorcycle class when it is determined that the vehicle image is crossing an imaginary line set in advance in the image for counting vehicles.
