    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device, such as user equipment (UE), may transmit, to a base station, UE profile information where the UE profile information provides an indication of a plurality of modes of operation supported by the UE, each of the plurality of modes of operation corresponding to a reception configuration using one or more of a plurality of antenna panels of the UE and one or more of a plurality of digital baseband chains of the UE, In some cases, the UE may identify a mode of operation from the plurality of modes of operation for communicating with the base station. The UE may then communicate with the base station based in part on the identified mode of operation.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems implementing beamforming, a neighboring base station may cause interference to a user equipment (UE) served by a different base station. To mitigate unexpected interference, an interference coordination region including time and frequency resources may be configured between the base stations. The interference coordination region may be configured based on long-term information for the base stations and may include one or both of a set of beam-avoidance sub-regions or a set of beam-preference sub-regions for a base station, where each sub-region is associated with a beam index. A base station may schedule a communication beam in the interference coordination region based on a beam-avoidance region (e.g., refraining from using a particular communication beam) or a beam-preference region (e.g., prioritizing a particular communication beam). The base station may transmit a message to a UE using the scheduled communication beam.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first transceiver node of a set of transceiver nodes may transmit a control message (e.g., downlink control information (DCI)) to a user equipment (UE). Upon receiving the control message, the UE may switch from a first bandwidth part (BWP) configuration for the first transceiver node to a second BWP configuration for the first transceiver node. Additionally, the UE may switch from BWP configurations for other transceiver nodes of the set of transceiver nodes. Upon switching from the first BWP configuration, the UE may start a timer and may switch from the second BWP configuration to a third BWP configuration upon expiration of the timer. The timer may be restarted each time the UE receives a communication from any of the set of transceiver nodes, a subset of the set of transceiver nodes, or from the first transceiver node.

    Abstract: A base station may access a channel following a successful channel access procedure. The base station may transmit an indication of a resource allocation to a user equipment (UE). The resource allocation may include an allocation of resources for subsequent communications between the base station and the UE, for example, defining a set of transmission time intervals (TTIs) during which the UE may transmit repetitions of uplink control information. The UE may also perform a channel access procedure to access the channel. The UE may transmit repetitions of the uplink control information using the set of TTIs according to the resource configuration. In some cases, the UE may stop transmitting uplink control information repetitions after a maximum number repetitions also according to the resource configuration. The base station may then receive and combine the uplink control information.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides for proactive wake-up beam management for connected mode discontinuous reception (C-DRX) operation. For example, a user equipment (UE) monitor one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) or reference signals received associated with a set of wake-up beams from a network entity. The UE may further determine that the set of wake-up beams satisfies a distress condition. The UE may additionally transmit a distress indication to the network entity based on determining that the set of wake-up beams satisfies the distress condition. Aspects described herein also provide a network entity that receives a distress indication from the UE in response to transmitting a set of wake-up beams and transmits a subsequent set of wake-up beams having at least one wake-up beam different not included in the set of wake-up beams to the UE.
