Abstract: Provided is a method and an apparatus for transmitting uplink control information by a terminal in wireless communication system. When a PUCCH resource used for transmitting only periodic CSI from a subframe, the resource is a first resource, and a resource indicated by ARI is a second resource, when a setting allows transmitting together ACK/NACK and the periodic CSI through a PUCCH from the same subframe, the first resource and the second resource are mutually exclusive, and the second resource that is used for transmitting together the ACK/NACK and the periodic CSI uses the resource indicated by the ARI from resources determined by an RRC.

Abstract: The present invention provided a method and apparatus for reporting a channel quality in a wireless communication system. A terminal receives an uplink grant from a base station via one of a plurality of downlink component carriers (CCs). The uplink grant includes a channel quality indicator (CQI) request for instructing uplink allocation and CQI reporting. The terminal reports the CQI of the downlink CC being linked to the base station. The downlink CC being linked is one of the plurality of downlink CCs, which is linked to the uplink CC for which the uplink allocation is scheduled. A method and an apparatus for reporting channel quality are discussed. The method according to an embodiment includes receiving, by a terminal configured with a plurality of downlink component carriers (CCs), control information from a base station, the control information including an uplink allocation and a CQI request, the control information including a carrier indicator field (CIF) indicating an uplink CC in which the uplink allocation is scheduled; and transmitting, by the terminal to the base station, the CQI through an uplink CC. The CQI request indicates one of: a triggering of CQI reporting for one downlink CC linked to the uplink CC, indicated by the CIF, among the plurality of downlink CCs; and a triggering of CQI reporting for a first group of downlink CCs among the plurality of downlink CCs.

Abstract: A method is provided for performing a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) by a user equipment (UE). An uplink (UL) grant for a first subframe of a second serving cell is received through a first serving cell. UL data in the first subframe of the second serving cell is transmitted according to the UL grant. When a not-acknowledgement (NACK) for the UL data is received through a physical HARQ indicator channel (PHICH) in a subframe i of the first serving cell, the UE performs a non-adaptive retransmission for the UL data in a second subframe of the second serving cell. When a PHICH resource corresponding to the UL data is not present in the subframe i, the UE does not perform the non-adaptive retransmission in the second subframe of the second serving cell.

Abstract: A method for receiving uplink control information in a wireless communication system supporting carrier aggregation (CA), and a base station therefore are discussed. If the ACK/NACK collides with the periodic CSI and the ACK/NACK corresponds to downlink data transmitted through only the first DL CC, both the ACK/NACK and the periodic CSI are received in the same subframe of a first uplink component carrier (UL CC). If the ACK/NACK collides with the periodic CSI and the ACK/NACK corresponds to downlink data transmitted through both the first DL CC and the second DL CC, the periodic CSI is not received and only the ACK/NACK is received in the same subframe of the first UL CC.

A user equipment, configured with a plurality of serving cells, receives at least one downlink transport block in the M downlink subframe(s), and determines an ACK/NACK response for the at least one downlink transport block by using one of a plurality of pre-defined mapping rules. Each of the plurality of pre-defined mapping rules is set to define a mapping relation between M ACK/NACK state(s) for each of the plurality of serving cells and the ACK/NACK response based on M. The user equipment transmits the ACK/NACK response.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is provided for transmitting an uplink signal in a wireless communication system The UE sets up a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration for a first serving cell that includes information for an SRS transmission, and determines an SRS subframe in which an SRS and a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) for the first serving cell are simultaneously triggered according to the SRS configuration. If a SRS transmission on the SRS subframe for the first serving cell is overlapped with an uplink transmission for a second serving cell, the UE transmits the SRS in the SRS subframe if a total uplink transmission power does not exceeds the UE's maximum transmit power on the overlapped portion. If the SRS is triggered by the SRS configuration and timing advance groups are configured to the UE, the UE transmits the PUSCH on the SRS subframe for the first serving cell.
