    Abstract: A system for generating a transfer function indicating audio transmission characteristics of an input device associated with a processing device includes: a parameter determining unit configured to determine one or more parameters of the input device, where the parameters include a location of a microphone associated with the input device and a location of one or more respective input and/or output elements associated with the input device, an audio characteristic determining unit configured to determine one or more characteristics of audio transmission between respective input and/or output elements and the microphone, where the characteristics include one or more of an attenuation, resonance, and/or change in frequency profile of audio associated with the respective input and/or output element, and a transfer function generating unit configured to generate a transfer function in dependence upon the determined audio characteristics.

    Abstract: A decrease in responsiveness when storing content in a flash memory is reduced. A storage management apparatus includes a flash memory including a plurality of blocks that include a plurality of usable blocks and one or more spare blocks. The apparatus is configured to acquire a new data set; change at least a part of the one or more spare blocks into a usable block and store the new data set in the thus changed usable block, in a case where a size of the new data set is larger than the writable area of the plurality of usable blocks and where the size of the new data set is larger than the writable area when an unnecessary data set contained in the plurality of usable blocks is deleted; and change the usable blocks all the data sets of which are deleted into spare blocks through garbage collection.

    Abstract: A method, system and computer product for training a control input system involve taking an integral of an output value from a Motion Decision Neural Network for one or more movable joints to generate an integrated output value and generating a subsequent output value using a machine learning algorithm that includes a sensor value and a previous joint position if the integrated output value does not at least meet the threshold. Surface damping interactions with at least a simulated environment, a rigid body position and a position of the one or more movable joints based on an integral of the subsequent output value are simulated. The Motion Decision Neural Network is trained with the machine learning algorithm based upon at least a result of the simulation of the simulated environment and position of the one or more movable joints.

    Abstract: A system and method for launching gameplay from streaming content is provided. Information regarding media content may be stormed in memory. Such media content may have at least one or more trigger points and each trigger point may be associated with a set of game data specific to a gameplay scene within an interactive title. The media content may be streamed to a user device over a communication network. A selection of one of the at least one or more trigger points may be received over the communication network from the user device. Identifying the set of game data associated with the selected trigger point may be identified and the interactive title for gameplay may be launched by the user device based on the identified set of game data associated with the selected trigger point.
