Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing pathologies utilizing quantitative imaging are presented herein. Advantageously, the systems and methods of the present disclosure utilize a hierarchical analytics framework that identifies and quantify biological properties/analytes from imaging data and then identifies and characterizes one or more pathologies based on the quantified biological properties/analytes. This hierarchical approach of using imaging to examine underlying biology as an intermediary to assessing pathology provides many analytic and processing advantages over systems and methods that are configured to directly determine and characterize pathology from underlying imaging data.

Abstract: A method includes obtaining functional and anatomical image data sets from a subject acquired at different dates. The method includes receiving a volumetric coordinate of interest in a specified functional and anatomical image data set. The method includes generating a 3D feature matching map for at least one functional feature layer type and for at least one anatomical feature layer type for each non-specified functional and anatomical image data set relative to the specified functional and anatomical image data set utilizing the volumetric coordinate of interest. The method includes generating a best matching coordinate and a corresponding confidence metric value for each 3D feature matching map. The method includes calculating an optimal matching coordinate to the volumetric coordinate of interest based on the best matching coordinates and their corresponding confidence metric values and outputting a respective optimal matching coordinate for each of the non-specified functional and anatomical image data sets.

The medical patient image is registered with atlas data, The assignment is then determined by calculating a score value defining an amount of volume intersection between the object of interest and a digital object defining a specific anatomic region, for example a bounding box around a specific organ, which is defined in the atlas data.

Thereby, operators with little or no experience operating ultrasound devices may capture medically relevant ultrasound images and/or interpret the contents of the obtained ultrasound images. Abstract: An accession number correction system is operable to determine that an accession number of a DICOM image does not link to any corresponding one of a plurality of medical reports. Medical report criteria is generated based on the DICOM image, and a set of medical reports are identified based on the medical report criteria. A computer vision model is trained from a training set of DICOM images, and inference data is generated for the DICOM image by performing at least one inference function utilizing the computer vision model. A selected one of the set of medical reports that corresponds to the DICOM image is determined based on comparing the inference data for the DICOM image to text included in at least one of the set of medical reports. Updated report header data for the selected medical report is generated, and storage of the updated report header data is facilitated.

Abstract: In part, the disclosure relates to methods, and systems suitable for evaluating image data from a patient on a real time or substantially real time basis using machine learning (ML) methods and systems. Systems and methods for improving diagnostic tools for end users such as cardiologists and imaging specialists using machine learning techniques applied to specific problems associated with intravascular images that have polar representations. Further, given the use of rotating probes to obtain image data for OCT, IVUS, and other imaging data, dealing with the two coordinate systems associated therewith creates challenges. The present disclosure addresses these and numerous other challenges relating to solving the problem of quickly imaging and diagnosis a patient such that stenting and other procedures may be applied during a single session in the cath lab.
