Abstract: Method and apparatus to determine a sidelink beam and associated power control parameter for sidelink communication. The apparatus initiates a beam pairing with a second UE, the first UE being a transmitting UE and the second UE being a receiving UE. The apparatus identifies a sidelink beam from a plurality of sidelink beams and at least one power control parameter for sidelink communication with the second UE. Different sidelink beams use different power control parameters. The apparatus communicates with the second UE via a selected sidelink beam and the at least one power control parameter.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for grouping beams that are directionally associated with one another and associating respective properties associated with groups of beams. In one aspect, a UE or component thereof may be configured to select a first beam group of one or more beam groups to include a first beam of a set of beams, with the first beam group including a first subset of beams of the set of beams that is directionally associated with a first direction of the first beam. The UE or component thereof may be further configured to associate a respective set of properties with each of the one or more beam groups. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may receive control information from a network entity. The control information may indicate one or more sidelink resources allocated to the first UE for sidelink communications. The first UE may also receive an indication from the network entity that use of downlink power control parameters in determination of a sidelink transmission power for the sidelink communications may be disabled at the first UE. In an aspect, a target user equipment (UE) receives, from a relay UE over a sidelink channel between the target UE and the relay UE, downlink control information (DCI) for a communication session between the target UE and a network entity, wherein the sidelink channel indicates search space information for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) between the target UE and the network entity carrying the DCI, and communicates with the network entity using a resource allocation granted by the DCI for a physical downlink channel, a physical uplink channel, or both between the target UE and the network entity based on the DCI and the search space information.

Abstract: Network-controlled power control for side-link communications is disclosed. According to the described aspects, a power control framework is defined for network-controlled side-band or device-to-device (D2D) communications, in which transmission power for side-link communications may be stepped up enough for a base station in a connected mode with at least one of multiple user equipment (UE) devices to detect side-link communications between the UEs in order to take responsive action to enhance the reliability of the communications. The base station provides the configuration information to the UEs which may be used when preparing for transmissions of side-link traffic and/or feedback.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program product for wireless communication are provided in which a scheduling entity determines a first direction of a backhaul link traffic between a first scheduling entity and a second scheduling entity, and determines a second direction of an access link traffic between the scheduling entity and a user equipment (UE) based on the first direction of the backhaul link traffic to reduce potential interference caused by the access link traffic. The scheduling entity transmits or receives the access link traffic in the second direction utilizing at least one of a same transmission resource of the backhaul link traffic.
