摘要: A lubricant receptacle for a vacuum pump is provided. The lubricant receptacle comprises a lubricant reservoir, a lubricant separator and an exhaust. A first gas connection is provided between a gas outlet of the lubricant reservoir and a gas inlet of the lubricant separator. For connecting a gas inlet of the lubricant reservoir with the vacuum pump, a second gas connection is provided, while a first lubricant connection is provided for connecting a lubricant outlet of the lubricant reservoir with the vacuum pump. Further, another lubricant connection is provided between a lubricant outlet of the lubricant separator and the lubricant outlet of the lubricant reservoir and/or an additional lubricant connection for connecting the lubricant outlet of the lubricant separator with the vacuum pump is provided. At least one of the gas connections and one of the lubricant connections is selectively coupleable. Furthermore, a vacuum pump system having such a lubricant receptacle and a vacuum pump is provided.

摘要: A pumping method in a pumping system comprises: a main vacuum pump with a gas inlet port connected to a vacuum chamber and a gas outlet port leading into a conduit before coming out into the gas outlet of the pumping system, a non-return valve positioned in the conduit between the gas outlet port and the gas outlet, and an auxiliary vacuum pump connected in parallel to the non-return valve. The main vacuum pump is activated in order to pump the gases contained in the vacuum chamber through the gas outlet port, simultaneously the auxiliary vacuum pump is activated and continues to operate all the while that the main vacuum pump pumps the gases contained in the vacuum chamber and/or all the while that the main vacuum pump maintains a defined pressure in the vacuum chamber. Also included is a pumping system.

摘要: Repeated cycles each consist of a pump down phase and a holding phase, wherein a start timepoint of each cycle is the timepoint when a rise in an inlet pressure of the pump is sufficiently large and the time extending between two consecutive cycle start timepoints is a cycle time. A control method includes determining a start of a next cycle during a present cycle, wherein it is preferable that the present cycle directly precedes the next cycle. The method further includes controlling the pump to accelerate to a maximum allowed speed during the holding phase of the present cycle before the start of the next cycle such that at the start of the next cycle full pump capacity is available.

According to the invention, the first pumping sub-system (310) and the second pumping sub-system (320) are configured to pump at a same flow rate, and the primary roots pump (302) is configured to be able to pump at a flow rate F equal to the pumping flow rate of the primary pumping sub-system (310) plus the pumping flow rate of the secondary pumping sub-system (320).

The module has a maximum size in a first system dimension that is equal to a first integer multiple of a fixed system value, the first system dimension being a dimension between the lateral sides. For each connection point, a distance between that connection point and each lateral side in the first system dimension is a respective second integer multiple of the fixed system value.

摘要: The present invention relates to rotary screw positive displacement machines used as a vacuum pump wherein additional intake air is provided allowing cooling to the invention which permits extended operation at extreme vacuum pressure. The rotary screw nature of the vacuum pump allows operation without additional lubrication with the additional intake air ensuring that thermal expansion will not disrupt the tight tolerances of the invention.
