    Abstract: During operation, the computer system (such as a controller) may receive, from an access point, information specifying an electronic device that has the connection with the access point. Then, based at least in part on the information, the computer system may store a mapping between the electronic device and the access point. Moreover, the computer system may receive, from the access point or a second access point, a notification message, where the notification message is associated with an orphan notification of the electronic device. Next, in response to receiving the notification message, the computer system may perform a look-up operation for the electronic device in the stored mapping. Furthermore, when the electronic device is included in the stored mapping, the computer system may selectively provide, to the access point and based at least in part on the stored mapping, second information specifying the electronic device.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. A UE may identify a beam failure for at least one communication beam at the UE. The UE may determine the reasoning for the beam failure and may include the reasoning in a beam failure recovery (BFR) request. The UE may identify a sidelink relay UE to communicate via sidelink channel and transmit the BFR request to the network entity. The network entity may receive the BFR request from the sidelink relay UE and identify beam switching parameters based on the type of interference that caused the beam failure. The network entity may include the beam switching parameters in a BFR response to the UE. The UE may receive the BFR response and switch to another candidate beam to enable communication to the network entity.

    Abstract: A system and method for utilizing data and computational information from on-vehicle and off-vehicle sources. The system comprises an assigning authority engine, a remote profile manager toolset, a plurality of databases, a plurality of cloud sources, a vehicle and a CVD within the vehicle. The dynamic, temporal combinations access data from the plurality of cloud sources comprising third party data and vehicle, timing, event, and/or positioning (“VTEP”) data to inform a plurality of instruction sets delivered by the assigning authority. One or more elements of the VTEP data is used as the basis to synchronize timing between the data, or computational outputs of two or more sources of electronic information. A single coherent information picture is generated from fusing data and computational information from the on-vehicle sources and the off-vehicle sources.

    Abstract: The devices, systems, and methods discussed herein facilitate the transition of a remote UE device and a relay UE device from either the RRCJDLE state or the RRCJN-ACTIVE state to the RRC_CONNECTED state in order to relay data. In some examples, in response to receiving a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) message from the remote UE device requesting connection to a base station, the relay UE device transmits an RRC connection request message to the base station. If the relay UE device receives a favorable RRC response message from the base station, the relay UE device transitions to the RRC_CONNECTED state with the base station and forwards the first RRC message to the base station. In some examples, the relay UE device transmits, to the remote UE device, a status update message to inform the remote UE device of the RRC response message received from the base station.
