摘要: An antenna for providing light is disclosed. The antenna may comprise a substrate having at least two domains and a light source which is connected to two domains. The light source may emit light when a direct current flows from one domain to another domain. A radio frequency (RF) current flows through the domains for generation of radio waves. A capacitor is provided between adjacent domains to provide a path for the RF current to bypass the light source. The substrate is enabled to absorb the heat dissipated by the light source. The substrate is coated with a reflective material to reflect impinging light rays.

摘要: An electronic modulating device is provided. The electronic modulating device includes a substrate, a plurality of first modulating electrodes disposed on the substrate, and a plurality of second modulating electrodes disposed on the substrate. The area of one of the first modulating electrodes is greater than the area of one of the second modulating electrodes. The ratio of the number of first modulating electrodes to the number of second modulating electrodes is in a range from 0.5 to 2.0.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for enhanced communication cables. A communication cable may include a cable body that includes a first end, a second end, an outer surface, an inner surface, and a channel defined by the inner surface and extending a length between the first end and the second end. The communication cable may further include a communication element located in the channel, an elongate light emitting element extending along at least a portion of the length of the cable body, and a plurality of light transmitting windows spaced periodically along the length of the cable body. The light emitting element may passes through the light transmitting windows. The cable body may include a plurality of opaque sections located between adjacent light transmitting windows, and the light emitting element may passes through the opaque sections. The light transmitting windows may be formed from a light transmitting polymer material.
