The UE may identify a packet transmission mode indicated in the uplink grant. The indication may specify whether the UE is to transmit the uplink transmission using a default mode, such as a first-in first-out mode, or a packet-group transmission mode. The UE may determine packets for inclusion in a transmission payload for the uplink transmission based on the identified transmission mode and transmit the uplink transmission in accordance with the packet transmission mode and the uplink grant.

The communication device may receive semi-static control signaling indicating a packet delay requirement. The communication device may receive dynamic control signaling from a different device indicating a packet delay measurement for one or more of a packet or a group of packets associated with the wireless communication in one or more of a downlink or an uplink. The communication device may adjust a packet delay parameter to compensate a delay for one or more of the downlink or the uplink based on the packet delay requirement and the packet delay measurement, and may communicate in the downlink, the uplink, or both based on the adjusted packet delay parameter.

Abstract: Systems and methods for establishing a connection with an edge application server are provided. A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication network establishes a connection with an edge application server to offload the data processing of an application executing on the UE to the edge application server. The UE communicates key performance indicators (KPIs) associated with the application to the edge data network. The KPIs indicate the resources that application uses to process the data. In response, the UE receives edge application server parameters from multiple servers in the edge data network that meet or exceed the KPIs. The parameters include compute, graphical compute, memory and storage parameters with various levels of specificity. The UE selects one of the edge application servers to process the data on behalf of the application based on the parameters.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some methods include receiving an indication of a traffic flow to be served by a wireless communication system, determining scheduling information for the traffic flow based on the indication, wherein the scheduling information comprises one or more of a time offset, a reliability, and a minimum throughput of delivery of data traffic for the flow, and transmitting the scheduling information in response to the indication. According to one or more aspects, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive a signal including one or more channel transmission parts associated with one or more zones. The UE may identify, based on receiving the signal, at least one zone of the one or more zones that is associated with the UE. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may identify multiple zones of the one or more zones that are associated with the UE. The UE may select a channel transmission part of the one or more channel transmission parts based on receiving the signal and the identified zone associated with the UE. The UE may decode the one or more selected channel transmission parts, and may communicate based on the decoded channel transmission part or the decoded channel transmission parts.

The UE may receive a transport block from the base station. In some examples, the transport block may include one or more code blocks in a first code block group and one or more code blocks in a second code block group and may decode the one or more code blocks in the first code block group of the transport block. In some examples, the UE may deliver, to the medium access control (MAC) layer of the UE and based on the mode for processing the transport block, the one or more decoded code blocks in the first code block group before completing the decoding of the second code block group.
