Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A method for wireless communication may include receiving a single frequency networked composite reference signal (SFNed RS) at a first port of a user equipment (UE) and receiving a reference signal (RS) at a second port of the UE that is different than the first port of the UE. The method may also include performing channel estimation for at least one of the first port or the second port based at least in part on receiving the SFNed RS and the RS. A method for wireless communication may include transmitting a first portion of an SFNed RS from a first port of a first transmit/reception point to a UE and transmitting a downlink control information message to the UE that indicates at least one transmission configuration indicator state identifier that identifies the SFNed RS.

The UE may communicate with the base station based at least in part on the grant and the determination of whether the communication is associated with the HARQ-based transmission mode or the HARQ-less transmission mode. The example method also includes receiving an activation indication activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool. Additionally, the example method includes activating the second subset of frequency resources of the second resource pool based on the activation indication.

Abstract: In an aspect, a radar controller determines a first transmission configuration for a reference radar signal on a first link from a first base station to a second base station, and a second transmission configuration for at least one target radar signal on at least one second link from the first base station to the second base station, the at least one target radar signal for sensing of at least one target, the first transmission configuration being different than the second transmission configuration. The radar controller transmits the first and second transmission configurations to the first and second base stations. The first base station transmits the reference radar signal and the at least one target radar signal in accordance with the respective transmission configurations.

Abstract: A base station may precode a first reference signal using a first precoder (P1) and at least one second reference signal using at least one second precoder (P2). At least two UEs may measure the first reference signal and the at least one second reference signal, and transmit channel state feedback based on the measuring (m11 and m12 for a first UE, and m21 and m22 for a second UE). The channel state feedback may comprise channel state information compressed by at least one neural network. The base station may derive a higher-level precoder (W) for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) downlink transmission to the at least two UEs.
