Abstract: A method and/or a communications apparatus controls a monitoring of a physical downlink control channel. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a first message sent by a network device, where the first message includes M sleep time sets, and the sleep time is used to indicate a time length in which monitoring the PDCCH is stopped; receiving, by the terminal device, a second message sent by the network device, where the second message includes sleep time indication information, the sleep time indication information is used to indicate a target sleep time index, and the target sleep time index is an index in the M sleep time sets; and stopping, by the terminal device, monitoring the PDCCH in a target time period.

Abstract: A method includes that a first terminal device sends a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) parameter of a second terminal device or indication information to a network device such that the network device determines a first time period based on the sidelink DRX parameter or the indication information, where the first time period belongs to sidelink DRX active time of the second terminal device. The first terminal device receives a sidelink grant sent by the network device, where the sidelink grant is used to indicate the first terminal device to send a resource of a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) and/or a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH), and a time domain position of the resource is in the first time period. The first terminal device sends a PSCCH and/or a PSSCH based on the sidelink grant.

Abstract: This specification provides a resource determining method and an apparatus, to optimize sidelink transmission performance. In this specification, a first communication apparatus may receive preferred resource information and/or non-preferred resource information, determine a transmission resource based on received resource information and a type of the first communication apparatus, and perform sidelink transmission by using the transmission resource. First resource information can indicate a high-interference or high-usage resource and/or a low-interference or low-usage resource. The first communication apparatus can select, based on the type of the first communication apparatus, a resource with relatively low interference to perform sidelink transmission. This improves sidelink transmission performance.

Abstract: This application provides a data processing method and apparatus, and a computer storage medium. When a PDCP entity over a UM DRB is re-established, or when a cell handover occurs and the PDCP entity over a UM DRB uses a key used before the handover, the PDCP entity determines a first SDU, where the first SDU is an SDU that is associated with a sequence number by the PDCP entity but whose corresponding data has not been transmitted through an air interface; and delivers a PDU corresponding to the first SDU to an RLC entity. Data corresponding to the first SDU is redelivered, to avoid a data packet loss caused by preprocessing of the PDCP entity.

Abstract: A timer control method includes a receiving device that performs re-establishment or data recovery on a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) layer of the receiving device. The PDCP layer stops the running of a reordering timer of the PDCP layer when the reordering timer is in a running state, where the reordering timer enables the PDCP layer to wait to receive a lost data packet. Because the reordering timer is stopped from running rather than expires, the PDCP layer does not update a value of RX_DELIV.
