In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a base station, information indicating a Layer 1 signal to interference plus noise ratio (L1-SINR) measurement capability of the UE. In some aspects, the information indicating the L1-SINR measurement capability may include one or more individual configurations for one or more resources to carry a reference signal. Abstract: Systems and methods for determining round trip time (RTT) includes a second node, which receives a first signal from a first node at a first time, determines a timing advance based on a first estimated channel response for the first signal, and transmits at a second time, a second signal to the first node, wherein the second time occurs after the first time by an amount of a pre-specified delay for RTT estimation minus the timing advance. The first node transmits the first signal to the second node at an initial time, receives the second signal from the second node, and determines a timing statistic from a second estimated channel response for the second signal, the timing statistic estimated at a third time. The first node determines the RTT as the third time minus the initial time minus the pre-specified delay for RTT estimation.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for using a channel state information (CSI) report framework to support positioning measurements in a wireless network. More particularly, a base station may identify one or more reference signal resources to be transmitted to a user equipment (UE) for obtaining at least one positioning measurement and configure the reference signal resources to be transmitted at least partially outside a current bandwidth that the base station and the UE are using to communicate data and control information. Accordingly, the base station may transmit, to the UE, a CSI report setting that indicates the positioning measurement to be reported and specifies that the positioning measurement is to be obtained from the configured reference signal resources.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method of operating a scheduled entity for wireless communication with a network. In some aspects, the scheduled entity transmits a message that requests a scheduling entity to transmit at least one reference signal. The scheduled entity obtains channel state information based on the at least one reference signal. The scheduled entity transmits a report that includes the channel state information. In other aspects, the scheduled entity transmits a message that requests a scheduling entity to schedule a reference signal transmission for the scheduled entity. The scheduled entity obtains an assignment of resources for transmission of the reference signal in response to the message. The scheduled entity transmits the reference signal based on the assignment of resources. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: A solution to enable synchronization and establishing links among the APs using available RATs with minimum modifications is provided. In one aspect, an apparatus may determine a first set of resources to be used for establishing network access for a set of UEs. A resource schedule of the apparatus may include the first set of resources and the second set of resources. In another aspect, an apparatus may be a first base station. The first base station may receive a set of reports from a set of base stations. The first base station may determine a resource schedule for a second base station within the set of base stations based on the set of reports. The first base station may transmit the resource schedule to the second base station.
