Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. that support preconfigured uplink resources (PUR) in wireless communications. A base station may communicate that support for PUR is available, and may allocate PUR resources to a user equipment (UE) based on requests from the UE. The UE may receive an indication that the base station supports PUR, such as via a system information block (SIB), determine to request PUR, and transmit a PUR request message to the base station. A PUR response from the base station may indicate configuration, or reconfiguration of PUR allocation for the UE that may be used for uplink transmissions, or release of the PUR allocation.

The apparatus may be configured to output, for transmission to the plurality of RedCap UEs, the first indication and output, for transmission to the plurality of RedCap UEs, at least one of an MCCH communication or an MTCH communication via the CFR indicated in the first indication for at least one of broadcast traffic or multicast traffic.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Some aspects relate to Layer 1 or Layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM) using groups of candidate cells. Some aspects more specifically relate to performing LTM operations, such as measurement, reporting, or switching, for cells of an activated group of candidate cells for LTM. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may measure an activated group of candidate cells in accordance with the activated group of candidate cells being activated. For example, the UE may not measure candidate cells that do not belong to an activated group of candidate cells. In some aspects, the activated group of candidate cells may include a subset of all candidate cells configured for the UE. For example, the UE may perform measurement and reporting for the subset of candidate cells, instead of all candidate cells configured for the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a radio resource control (RRC) release message that indicates a first point-to-multipoint (PTM) configuration for a multicast service provided by a serving cell of the UE. The first PTM configuration may identify a first set of resources to monitor for the multicast service while the UE is in an RRC inactive state. The RRC release message may further indicate whether a second PTM configuration is present for the serving cell of the UE, whether the second PTM configuration is different from the first PTM configuration, or both. The UE may monitor the serving cell for the multicast service in accordance with the first PTM configuration or the second PTM configuration based on transitioning from an RRC connected state to the RRC inactive state in accordance with the RRC release message.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for enabling multi-TRP transmission in non terrestrial networks. In one aspect, a user equipment receives a first reference signal from a first satellite transmission reception point (TRP) at a first timing and receives a second reference signal from a second satellite TRP at a second timing. The first timing is synchronized with the second timing at a first geographic location. The user equipment receives a third reference signal from the first satellite TRP at a third timing and receives a fourth reference signal from the second satellite TRP at a fourth timing. The third timing and the fourth timing are synchronized at the user equipment. The user equipment receives an indication of a timing offset of the fourth reference signal with respect to the second reference signal and uses the third and fourth reference signals as a quasi colocation (QCL) source.
