Abstract: A UE may identify, during a first DRX ON period immediately preceding an existing DRX OFF period, that a first condition is met. The UE may transmit, to a network node, and the network node may receive, from the UE, a request to extend the first DRX ON period based on the first condition being met. Abstract: A base station may transmit, to a UE, a configuration set associated with a BFD-RS set corresponding to a plurality of beams including a first beam via an RRC message. The base station may transmit, to the UE, a BFD-RS associated with the first beam. The BFD-RS may be associated with the BFD-RS set. The UE may detect a BFI indication of the first beam based on the BFD-RS from the base station. The UE may increment a BFI counter in response to the detected BFI indication of the first beam irrespective of a status associated with other beams in the plurality of beams. The UE may transmit, to a candidate base station of the one or more candidate base stations, a message to initiate the conditional handover based at least in part on the execution condition having been satisfied.
