Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may connect to a set of source cell groups (CGs). The UE may receive a target cell group setup information, the target cell group setup information being associated with a set of target CGs. The UE may connect to the set of target CGs based at least in part on the target cell group setup information during a handover from the set of source CGs to the set of target CGs. The UE may disconnect from the set of source CGs after connecting to the set of target CGs. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A communication device may receive control signaling indicating a first set of resources for random access channel (RACH) occasions (ROs) and a second set of resources for communicating one or more indications of interference (e.g., crosslink interference (CLI)) associated with the ROs. The communication device may receive a reference signal (e.g., a sounding reference signal (SRS)) over at least one resource of the second set of resources. The communication device may perform a RACH procedure during an RO. The RO may be associated with the at least one resource and may be based on a signal parameter associated with the received reference signal satisfying a threshold (e.g., reference signal strength indicator (RSSI)).

Abstract: A UE receives DCI in a PDCCH, the DCI triggers reception of AP CSI-RS, and the PDCCH has a first numerology and the AP CSI-RS has a second numerology. The UE determines, when a CORESET is configured on an active BWP of a serving cell for receiving the AP CSI-RS and when the first numerology is the same as the second numerology, a default AP CSI-RS beam for receiving the AP CSI-RS based on a beam used for receiving the CORESET with a lowest ID in a latest monitored slot of the active BWP of the serving cell. The UE determines, otherwise when the first numerology is the same as the second numerology, the default AP CSI-RS beam for receiving the AP CSI-RS based on a QCL assumption of a PDSCH TCI state with a lowest ID on the active BWP of the serving cell for receiving the AP CSI-RS.

Abstract: A UE may receive a BFD-RS and calculate, based on the BFD-RS, one or more of a value of an RSSI or at least one of a value of an SNR or a value of an RSRP, such that the UE may report a BFI based on the calculated values. The UE may initiate at least one of a total BFI timer or a consecutive BFI timer when a first BFI of a plurality of BFIs is stored, and increment at least one of a total BFI counter or a consecutive BFI counter when each of the plurality of BFIs is stored. A BFD procedure may be performed if at least one of the total BFI counter is greater than or equal to a maximum total count or the consecutive BFI counter is greater than or equal to a maximum consecutive count prior to an expiration of respective BFI timers.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may attempt to connect to a base station using a random access procedure. During the random access procedure, the base station may transmit control information associated with a random access response (RAR) during a RAR window. The UE may attempt to receive a single instance of the control information and, in some cases, may be unable to receive and decode the single instance of the control information. The base station may configure one or more RAR windows (or segment(s) thereof) to support transmitting repeating instances of the control information and/or RAR. The UE may identify a quantity of instances of the repeated control information and combine the instances. The UE may successfully decode the combined instances of control information and identify a location for receiving the RAR.

A user equipment (UE) may select a random access channel (RACH) occasion (RO) based on one or more channel quality thresholds, such as reference signal received power (RSRP) thresholds. A base station may determine a set of RO types for receiving RACH transmissions. The base station may determine a channel quality threshold for each RO type. The base station may broadcast a configuration indicating the RO types and the associated channel quality thresholds. The UE may receive the configuration and measure a channel quality between the UE and the base station. Based on the measured channel quality, the UE may determine which RO types are available based on the indicated channel quality thresholds, and select an RO for transmitting a RACH preamble to establish a connection with the base station based on the available RO types.

For example, a method for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE), may include receiving a configuration for reporting feedback associated with beam blocking. The UE may perform a decoding process on one or more downlink transmissions via a set of multiple beams. The UE may determine whether a failure of the decoding process is a result of one or more of the plurality of beams being at least partially blocked during the one or more downlink transmissions according to the configuration. The UE may also transmit a negative acknowledgement (NACK) and link adaptation information, where the NACK acknowledgement is based on the failure of the decoding process and the link adaptation information is based on determining whether the one or more of the set of multiple beams are at least partially blocked.
