Abstract: A communication method and a device, to implement service isolation of an Ethernet broadcast frame. In this method, when a terminal device initiates establishment of a session of an Ethernet type, a virtual local area network management function entity in a communications system may determine a virtual local area network identifier of a user group to which the terminal device belongs. In this way, a user plane function entity in the session of the terminal device may allocate a plurality of virtual ports to a virtual local area network whose identifier is the virtual local area network identifier, and broadcast the Ethernet broadcast frame on the plurality of virtual ports.

The M-wavelength laser beam includes at least a first-wavelength laser beam. The second port of the first optical component is further configured to receive a modulated first optical signal from the first communications device, the modulated first optical signal is obtained after the first communications device modulates a service signal onto the first-wavelength laser beam. The third port of the first optical component is configured to send the modulated first optical signal to the second communications device.

Abstract: By using a method for coordination between base stations, one base station allocates a resource to user equipment in a better manner with reference to resource configuration information saved in the base station and resource configuration information of another base station. The method provided in the embodiments of the present invention includes: acquiring, by a first base station, resource configuration information of a first cell, where the first cell is a cell served by the first base station; receiving resource configuration information of a second cell sent by a second base station, where the second cell is a cell served by the second base station; and allocating a resource to user equipment according to the resource configuration information of the first cell and the resource configuration information of the second cell, so that the user equipment communicates with the first cell and the second cell.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a cell discovery method and apparatus, where the method includes: determining, by a second network node, modified timing of the second network node according to acquired timing modification information; receiving, by the second network node, uplink resource information of user equipment sent by a first network node; performing, by the second network node, detection on an uplink signal of the user equipment by using the modified timing and according to the uplink resource information; and when detecting proximity of the user equipment, sending, by the second network node, proximity information to the first network node. The cell discovery method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present invention prevent from triggering UE to perform unnecessary cell measurement or handover, thereby reducing network signaling load and lowering power consumption of the UE.
