Abstract: The present invention is a system for repairing asphalt. The system includes a discrete quantity of an asphalt repair composition located within a container and an induction heater. The composition is a combination of an asphalt binder, aggregate particles, and induction particles. The average diameter of the induction particles ranges from approximately 10% above to approximately 10% below an average diameter of the aggregate particles used in the composition. The induction heater heats the composition within the container by generating a magnetic field that penetrates the container. The magnetic field creates eddy currents in the induction particles. These eddy currents in turn heat the composition. Because the induction particles are distributed throughout the composition, the composition heats rapidly.

Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatuses for covering a storage compartment of a receptacle, reducing exposure of items inside the receptacle to the surrounding environment and decreasing the risk of damage or undesirable impacts on the products being transported. The covered receptacle systems, methods and apparatuses not only provide a physical barrier over the exposed opening of the receptacle's storage compartment, but further passively facilitate the removal of the environmental hazards from the receptacle cover, leading the environmental hazard in a direction away from the receptacle. The removal of environmental hazards may be performed by directing the hazard in a direction away from the storage compartment of the receptacle via a downwardly sloping top surface of the receptacle cover.

Abstract: An apparatus regulates a temperature of a fluid inside a container and dispenses the fluid from the container. The apparatus has a body with an axis, a cavity adjacent a distal end, a bore adjacent a proximal end, and a fluid inlet formed through the body to the bore. The body contacts the fluid inside the container. A second fluid may be located and sealed inside the cavity, and have a freezing point of about 10° C. or less. A nozzle may be mounted to the body. The nozzle has a channel in communication with the fluid inlet through which the fluid flows out of the container through the nozzle. A seal may be mounted to the body. The seal may have a radial seal to seal radially between the body and an interior of the container, and an axial seal to seal axially between the nozzle and the container.

Abstract: A container is provided. The container has a lid and a tray. The lid has a contiguous array of walls extending therefrom. The tray has a recess for receiving soft food material. The recess is sized to receive the array of walls of the lid. The tray has a contiguous array of ridges corresponding to the array of walls of the lid. A top surface of the ridges of the tray contact a bottom surface of the walls of the lid when mated to form sealed compartments. A sealing mechanism is provided along a perimeter of at least one of the lid and the tray sealing the lid and the tray along perimeters thereof, and restricting separation of the bottom surface of the walls of the lid from the top surface of the ridges of the tray when mated. At least one of the lid and the tray is formed from a flexible material so that the lid and the tray can be partially separated to remove a food portion formed in one of the compartments without breaking all of the seals of the compartments.

Abstract: The present invention provides, among other things, a clothing and fabric storage container including a heat exchanger operable to reduce the temperature of clothing and fabric located in an interior of the container in order to reduce or eliminate odor causing bacteria from the clothing and fabric. In some embodiments, the container includes a controller. In some such embodiments, the controller operates the heat exchanger to reduce an interior container temperature and to maintain the temperature of the interior of the container below a pre-determined temperature. In some embodiments, the clothing storage device generates cold air inside of the clothing storage device with at least one cooling mechanism that is powered by an electrical cord and plug that is plugged into an electrical wall socket. The clothing storage device is designed to cool the clothing while the clothing is inside the clothing storage device.
