Abstract: A protective facemask configured to block and redirect exhaled breath from a wearer in order to inhibit spread of respiratory droplets disposed in the exhaled breath. The facemask of the present invention includes a body that is manufactured from clear plastic. The body includes an upper portion and a lower portion wherein the upper portion has a defining upper perimeter edge. The body has a width proximate the lower end that is less than that of the width proximate the upper end. A pair of opposing wing members are contiguous with the body and extend around the cheek areas of the wearer. The body is engaged and adjacent the nose and cheeks of the wearer but has a void between the inner surface and face below the nose and cheek area. The lower end has a bottom perimeter edge that is arcuate in form so as to redirect exhaled breath.

Abstract: A garment includes a covering fabric; padding to be filled inside the covering fabric; and quilting stitches. The padding is constituted by polyester staple fibers including fibers having a circular outer peripheral cross section and has an open fiber structure. The fibers constituting the padding have an irregular diameter, and a smoothing agent is fixed to surfaces of the fibers. Thus, it is possible to provide a garment free from problems of uneven distribution of padding and having favorable water removability at the time of washing, quick dryability, and a favorable sliding property between fibers. This garment is suitable as a garment for sports to be washed repeatedly. Further, since the garment can be worn in a puffy state even when wet, it dries quickly by the body heat.

Abstract: An apparel garment that includes individual fibers exhibit proper moisture wicking properties and that have been infused or coated (or both) with far infrared materials is provided. The combination of suitable fibers and far infrared materials imparts a unique effect to the apparel garment wherein the far infrared materials will physiologically and therapeutically impact the user's circulatory system to dilate surface capillaries, break down water clusters, and allow for toxin removal at the apparel/skin interface. Coupled with the overall moisture wicking capability, surprisingly the inventive garment actually provides a cooling effect during an exercise event in a warm temperature environment and a warming effect during an exercise event in a cold temperature environment.
