摘要: An imaging apparatus includes a main body having an imaging element; a rectangular display disposed along one surface of the main body; and a hinge unit that movably connects the display to the main body. The hinge unit includes a support portion connected to the main body so as to be rotationally movable about a first axis by a pair of first hinges on the first axis extending along one of two sides of the display which are at right angles to each other. The display is supported by the support portion so as to be rotationally movable about a second axis by a pair of second hinges on the second axis extending along other of the two sides of the display which are at right angles to each other. One of the pair of first hinges is disposed between the pair of second hinges.

摘要: A foldable electronic device is disclosed, including a first housing and a second housing coupled via a hinge allowing folding thereof, a camera configured to rotate with respect to the first housing to a change a field-of-view (FOV) of the camera, a display spanning across surfaces of the first and second housings, a motion sensor for detecting a posture of the foldable electronic device, a folding angle sensor for detecting a folding angle between the first and second housings, and at least one processor configured to: based on detecting an input requesting a function associated with photographic capture by the camera, detect a present posture via the motion sensor and a present folding angle via the folding angle sensor, and drive rotation of the camera, based on the detected present posture and the present folding angle, so as to adjust a present FOV of the camera.

摘要: A display that contains a sparse array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), including a related system and method of fabrication are disclosed. The display includes at least one panel disposed in or on a transparent material to provide a display on one or both sides of the material. Each tile has a transparent flexible substrate, a sparse array of LEDs disposed on the transparent flexible substrate, a rigid substrate adhered to the transparent flexible substrate via an adhesive layer in which the sparse array of LEDs is encapsulated, and a driver disposed on an edge of the tile and configured to drive the LEDs. The LEDs are sparse enough to enable information to be displayed through the transparent material while still enabling a viewer to see through the transparent material.

摘要: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, and method for accurately setting a focus flange depth and planarity of a camera lens. An aspect includes a lens housing with at least one camera lens, a camera body with an imaging plane, and a lens mount removably coupling the lens housing to the camera body via a coupling mechanism. At least one shim may be inserted between the lens mount and the camera body to adjust a depth, pitch, and yaw of the camera lens in the lens housing with respect to the imaging plane in the camera body. Each shim may comprise a body having an opening extending from an edge of the body to a center of the body. The opening of each shim is configured to receive the coupling mechanism such that the pitch and yaw may be adjusted without fully removing the lens housing from the camera body.

摘要: A viewfinder with which an observing or image-recording device, such as a spotting scope or image-recording apparatus, is intended to be equipped, the observing device being configured to produce an image of an observed scene. The viewfinder allows a first image, representative of the observed scene, and a second image, different from the first image, to be displayed, the first image and the second image being juxtaposed with respect to each other. The observing device includes a first optical system and a second optical system configured to propagate the first image and the second image towards the eye of a user, along two distinct axes of propagation, respectively. The optical systems are such that passage from observing one image to observing the other image is achieved through simple natural rotation of the eye.

摘要: A motorized cross-polarizer instrument for providing strategic cross-polarization is provided. In one exemplary embodiment, the instrument includes outer and inner housings. A polarizer, mounted inside the inner housing, permits rotation of the polarizer in tandem with the inner housing. A capstan, mounted inside the outer housing, permits rotation of the inner hosing relative to the outer housing. And a motor, connected to the capstan, rotates the inner housing. The instrument may be located on or place over a polarized digital display unit that includes a polarizer film thus forming a display system for providing strategic cross-polarization.
