摘要: Methods and systems are described for providing end-to-end beamforming. For example, end-to-end beamforming systems include end-to-end relays and ground networks to provide communications to user terminals located in user beam coverage areas. The ground segment can include geographically distributed access nodes and a central processing system. Return uplink signals, transmitted from the user terminals, have multipath induced by a plurality of receive/transmit signal paths in the end to end relay and are relayed to the ground network. The ground network, using beamformers, recovers user data streams transmitted by the user terminals from return downlink signals. The ground network, using beamformers generates forward uplink signals from appropriately weighted combinations of user data streams that, after relay by the end-end-end relay, produce forward downlink signals that combine to form user beams.

摘要: Methods and systems are described for providing end-to-end beamforming. For example, end-to-end beamforming systems include end-to-end relays and ground networks to provide communications to user terminals located in user beam coverage areas. 摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a housing, a communication board, and a display device. The housing has an upper end portion, a front end portion, and a rear end portion. The front end portion and the rear end portion define a frontward/rearward direction. The communication board is provided on the upper end portion and includes an antenna for near field wireless communication. The display device is provided on the upper end portion. The display device and the antenna are arrayed on a straight line extending in the frontward/rearward direction such that the antenna is positioned frontward of the display device.

摘要: Antenna assemblies are described herein. In particular, described herein are multi-focal-point antenna devices and compact radio frequency (RF) antenna devices. Any of these assemblies may include a primary feed that includes a single patterned emitting surface from which multiple different beams of RF signals are emitted corresponding to different antenna input feeds each communicating with the patterned antenna emitting surface. The antenna assembly is therefore capable of emitting beams in the same direction having different polarizations using a single primary feed. Also described herein are compact RF antenna devices having a lightpipe that passes through the single patterned emitting surface.

摘要: A communications system. The communications system includes a pole with an inner channel extending substantially an entire vertical height thereof, the pole being anchorable in a support surface. An antenna luminary assembly is received in the inner channel of the pole at an end thereof, the antenna luminary assembly including an antenna and a light source. The antenna luminary assembly is transitionable from an unlocked position where the antenna luminary assembly is rotatable about a central axis of the pole and a locked position where the antenna luminary assembly is non-rotatable about the central axis of the pole. A rotational position of the antenna luminary assembly relative to central axis of the pole defines a horizontal azimuth of the antenna.

摘要: A method of providing an antenna mast for a wireless communication system is presented. The method comprises selecting a lower module and an upper module from a set of modules. This set of modules comprises at least two different lower modules, at least two different upper modules, or at least two different lower modules and at least two different upper modules. The method further comprises assembling the selected lower module and the selected upper module into a mast body of the antenna mast. This mast body forms a supporting structure for an antenna arrangement of the wireless communication system. In assembling the mast body, the method includes the antenna arrangement in the selected upper module and includes in at least one of the selected lower module and the selected upper module a device configured to perform a function other than supporting the antenna arrangement.
