    摘要: A low anisotropic Cr--Ni-based stainless steel hot-rolled sheet, which has texture with (100), (110), (111), (311) and (211) ND plane intensity from 0.5 to 1.5 in an inverse pole figure measured for a 1/4 section of the sheet thickness, and which is produced by continuously casting molten Cr--Ni-based stainless steel into a cast strip with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 6 mm using a continuous casting machine wherein the mold walls move in synchronization with the cast strip, hot rolling it at a hot rolling temperature of 950-1,150.degree. C. and a reduction of 25 to 35% within 60 seconds after the cast strip has left the mold, and then performing heat treatment wherein the strip is held for 5 to 60 seconds in a temperature range of 950-1,200.degree. C.; as well as a process for its production.

    摘要: A steel plate having a plated layer on the upper and lower surfaces thereof to be processed into a battery can which is cylindrical and open in one end thereof by drawing and ironing processing. The plated steel plate has more than 1.2 as a Lankford value (r) which is a width deformation degree in a lengthwise direction thereof/a thickness deformation degree in the lengthwise direction thereof, a width deformation degree in a widthwise direction thereof/a thickness deformation degree in the widthwise direction thereof, a width deformation degree in an oblique direction thereof/a thickness deformation degree in the oblique direction thereof. In-plane anisotropy Ar which is the difference among the Lankford values (r) is set to be less than .+-.0.15 so that the elongation coefficient of the plated steel plate in lengthwise, widthwise, and oblique directions is almost constant, i.e., so that the generation of earring can be prevented in drawing and ironing a sheet comprising the steel plate into the battery can. In order to make the elongation coefficient of the plated steel plate constant in the three directions, a very low carbon steel plate is used. The steel plate is cold-rolled at 80-90%. The plated layer is allowed to have a granular structure by annealing it after it is plated.

    摘要: A continuous process line for converting hot rolled stainless steel strip to final gauge product is provided. The stainless steel strip has a scale formed on the surface thereof. The steel strip is introduced to a rolling mill to reduce the thickness of the hot rolled stainless steel to a final gauge thickness and tolerance. The rolling mill also cracks the scale on the surface of the final gauge thickness strip. An annealing section anneals the final gauge thickness strip received from the rolling mill. A pickling section pickles the annealed strip from the annealing section and removes the scale from the surface. Preferably, a molten salt bath section provided between the annealing section and the pickling section conditions the scale cracked in the cold rolling section and passes the conditioned stainless steel to the pickling section.

    摘要: A method of producing a ferritic stainless steel strip having reduced intra-face anisotropy as well as excellent r value and anti-ridging characteristics. The method involves subjecting a ferritic stainless steel slab to a hot rolling step including rough rolling having at least one rough rolling pass and a finish rolling having at least one finish rolling pass, followed by a hot-rolled sheet annealing, pickling, cold rolling and finish annealing. At least one of the passes in the rough rolling is conducted with the rolling temperature between about 970.degree. C. to about 1150.degree. C., the friction coefficient between the rolls and the rolled material of about 0.3 or less, and the rolling reduction ratio between about 40 to about 75%.
