Methods for transferring of a useful layer from a support are described. In an embodiment, the method includes for facilitating transfer of a useful layer from a support by providing an interface in a first support to define a useful layer; and forming a peripheral recess on the first support below the interface so that the periphery of the interface is exposed to facilitate removal and transfer of the useful layer. An epitaxial layer can be formed on the useful layer after forming the recess, with the width and depth of the recess being sufficient to accommodate the volume of residual material resulting from formation of the epitaxial layer without covering the periphery of the interface. Alternatively, an epitaxial layer can be formed on the useful layer after forming the recess, wherein the peripheral recess is configured for receiving sufficient residual material from the epitaxial layer to prevent bonding between the residual material and the useful layer.

The present invention is an object to provide an apparatus or a method making it possible to easily effect connection between additional electrodes, etc. and lead electrodes when performing a processing for achieving a predetermined throat height value or crown processing or the like and making it possible to measure the requisite lapping amount. For achieving the object, a flexible electrode extension sheet is used which consists of a portion for retaining a ceramic bar in which element portions are formed and a portion where there are formed wirings respectively in correspondence with the elements and adapted to be connected to these elements, in which these wirings, which can be easily connected to an external measurement system, are electrically connected to the elements, whereby the lapping amount is easily obtained from the characteristic amount of the elements in the lapping process.

A carpet removal or stripping method and system (machine) employs a common dolly. The backside of the dolly member has a plurality of teeth. A motorized winching system is coupled to the front side of the dolly member. A dual purpose safety shield covers the teeth during transportation and serves as a protective screen for the user during carpet removal operation of the invention machine. The winching system automates carpet peeling activity with the dolly member lying backside down during operation, and the teeth provide an anchoring effect. A pull bar removably grasps the subject carpet. A cable is coupled between the winching system and the pull bar. The winching system takes up or pulls the cable and hence the pull bar, such that the carpet is peeled away and separated from the subfloor.

The present invention relates to a film transfer tool that allows a transfer head to be disposed in any of the spaces between letters of normally used word processors for implementation of a smooth transfer operation of film. The film transfer tool includes a feed reel and a take-up reel, which are adapted to interlock with each other. The reels are disposed within a case, and a film transfer tape is fed out from the feed reel to be moved along a surface while being pressed thereagainst by a transfer head protruding from the case. The transfer tape is then taken up by the take-up reel. The film transfer tool also includes a support frame and a transfer roller to rotatably extend between facing side pieces of the support frame and having an outside diameter ranging from 1 mm to 3 mm.

The cutting assembly functions to sever the urethane bed bonding a windshield to a vehicle. The assembly comprises a reciprocating air gun connected with a cutting blade by a shaft. The blade has a straight front cutting edge about 4 inches in width. The blade is reciprocated in and out of the bed to sever it.

The invention provides a separation method for object and glue membrane, and it is characterized: an external force such as tearing apart is pre-applied for appropriately separating the glue membrane and the object, such that the binding ability between the object and the glue membrane is reduced, and a taking-and-placing head then sucks up the object; to achieve said objective, it can arrange a vacuum sucking-up seat that is moveable and has vacuum adsorption hole under the glue membrane, and the sucking force of the vacuum sucking-up seat may generate an external force such as tearing apart to the glue membrane, and the object is then sucked up by the taking-and-placing head; it is also possible to arrange a connection rod to lower down and lift up the taking-and-placing head simultaneously and, before the taking-and-placing head is lowered down to contact the object, it may bring along the connection rod to press down the glue membrane and generate an external force such as tearing apart to the glue membrane, and the object is then sucked up by the taking-and-placing head; since the external force is not applied upon the object, so it may control the deforming rate of the objet to a minimum degree, such that the object may be avoided from being broken and be not caused to move, and it may also peel apart multiple chips, such that the production speed is increased and the taking-up time is shortened.

A pneumatic tire which facilitates separation of a rubber layer and is excellent in recyclability and retreadability and a method of scrapping the same. A pneumatic tire comprises a partition layer buried adjacent to a rubber layer, the partition layer including at least one cord repeatedly bent to turn around at its bent portion and arranged in a plane and rubber portions interposed between adjacent portions of the cord. Herein, the cord is arranged in a direction intersecting with the tire circumferential direction. The cord of the partition layer is pulled in an in-plane direction of the partition layer to sequentially cut the rubber portions interposed between the adjacent portions of the cord. The rubber layer adjacent to the partition layer is thus separated.
