    摘要: Embodiments of a user station (STA) and methods for operating in a millimeter-wave basic service set (BSS) are generally described herein. In some embodiments, a STA transmits a request, using a first channel with a first bandwidth, for an allocation to communicate data on a second channel with a second bandwidth different from the first bandwidth. The request can include a directional multi-gigabit (DMG) traffic specification (TSPEC) element with a value representative of the second bandwidth. The STA may receive the allocation of the second bandwidth in an Extended Schedule element. The STA may transmit data on the second channel with the second bandwidth responsive to receiving the allocation.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide path MTU discovery of a network path, such as an IPv4 network. According to various embodiments of the invention, a node receives a packet at a node along the network path between a source node and a destination node, compares a MTU size of a next hop along the network path with the size of the packet, responsive to the MTU size of the next hop along the network path being less than the size of the packet and responsive to the packet supporting path MTU discovery, the node truncates the packet to the MTU size of the next hop, stores the MTU size in the portion of the packet reserved for PMTU size, and forwards the packet.

    摘要: Techniques for signaling carrier bandwidths supported by a user equipment (UE) for carrier aggregation are disclosed. A UE may be configured with a plurality of carriers for carrier aggregation. Each carrier may have one carrier bandwidth of a set of possible carrier bandwidths. The set of possible carrier bandwidths may be dependent on a band in which the carrier belongs. Multiple combinations of carrier bandwidths for the plurality of carriers may be possible. The UE may identify at least one supported carrier bandwidth combination for the plurality of carriers. Each of the supported carrier bandwidth combinations may include a particular carrier bandwidth for each configured carrier. The UE may send signaling indicative of the at least one supported carrier bandwidth combination. The UE may thereafter communicate on the plurality of carriers based on a carrier bandwidth combination selected from the supported carrier bandwidth combination(s).
