摘要: A light emitting device includes a plurality of first electrodes, an organic layer located above the plurality of first electrodes and including a light emitting layer, a second electrode located above the organic layer, and an insulating layer that separates the plurality of first electrodes from each other. An upper surface of each of the plurality of first electrodes includes an inner region in contact with the organic layer, and an outer region in contact with the insulating layer. The insulating layer includes an opening that defines the inner region, and a step located at a position away from the opening and overlapping the outer region.

摘要: An image capturing apparatus having a touch panel mounted on a display unit on the rear side of its housing is provided with a posture detection unit; a first gripping unit positioned on side of the housing when the posture is a normal position; a second gripping unit positioned on side of the housing when the posture is a vertical position; a first operating member operable by a finger of a hand that is gripping the first gripping unit; a second operating member operable by a finger of a hand that is gripping the second gripping unit; and a control unit that displays a first button for deactivating operations from the second operating member on the display screen, and receives input to the first button via the touch panel. The display position of the first button on the display unit is set based on a first virtual circle for which the center point has been set in the range of the first gripping unit or the second gripping unit, and the radius of the first virtual circle is a tangential line that reaches from the center point to the outer edge of the display unit, cutting across the display unit.

摘要: Welding cameras, welding helmets, welding masks, and associated display systems are described herein that utilize darkening or attenuating filters in conjunction with long-exposure imaging to capture flicker-free video of a welding process. Example embodiments include one or more of a darkening filter, an image sensor to capture long-exposure images as frames of a video, an optical image stabilization subsystem, a data storage to store video, and an electronic display to display the video. For example, captured images may be displayed on an electronic display within the welding mask without risk of overexposure of ultraviolet radiation to the operator. In some examples, dual electronic displays are used to display different images to each eye of the operator to provide a stereoscopic video feed.

摘要: A vehicular trailer guidance system includes an electronic control unit (ECU), a rear backup camera and a trailer camera disposed at a rear portion of a trailer hitched to the vehicle. A display screen is disposed in the vehicle and viewable by a driver of the vehicle. With the trailer hitched to the vehicle, the display screen is operable to display video images derived from image data captured by the trailer camera. At least in part via processing at the ECU of image data captured by the trailer camera, an instruction that aids maneuvering the vehicle in reverse with the trailer hitched thereto during a reversing maneuver of the vehicle and trailer is generated. During the reversing maneuver of the vehicle and trailer, the display screen displays an alert when angling of the trailer relative to the vehicle approaches a jackknife condition.

摘要: A display that contains a sparse array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), including a related system and method of fabrication are disclosed. The display includes at least one panel disposed in or on a transparent material to provide a display on one or both sides of the material. Each tile has a transparent flexible substrate, a sparse array of LEDs disposed on the transparent flexible substrate, a rigid substrate adhered to the transparent flexible substrate via an adhesive layer in which the sparse array of LEDs is encapsulated, and a driver disposed on an edge of the tile and configured to drive the LEDs. The LEDs are sparse enough to enable information to be displayed through the transparent material while still enabling a viewer to see through the transparent material.
