摘要: At least one of the scroll members is composed of a metallic insert having substantial the same configuration of the scroll member, i.e. an end plate and spiral wraps fixed to and extended from the end plate. The metallic insert has anchor holes and connecting holes for bonding the plastic coating layer on to the metallic insert. The anchor holes also serve as gas escaping passages during injection molding process. The mold has multiple poring gates to minimize the pressure gradients across the spiral wraps during the injection molding process. The metallic insert has also tubers sticking out from the tip of its spiral wraps. The tubers are firmly held by the mold in the injection molding process to prevent movement of the spiral wraps under the pressure from the injected plastic flow. The metallic inserts can be fully or partially coated by the plastic compound such that there is no metallic to metallic contact between the scroll members during operations.

摘要: The invention relates to a pump housing (2) comprising a dual-wall casing (3) which enables a first fluid (4) to flow at least partially around a compression chamber (5) for compressing a second fluid (6), said compression being performed with at least two elongated rotors (7, 8). The dual-wall casing (3) comprises: (i) a first wall (10) which defines the volume of the compression chamber (5), and (ii) a second wall (11) which extends around the first wall (10) at a distance (12) from same such as to enable the first fluid (4) to flow therethrough. The pump housing (2) consists of two subassemblies (13, 14), namely a first subassembly (13) and a second subassembly (14), which are assembled along a sealing surface (15) that is essentially orthogonal to the longitudinal axes (70, 80) of the rotors (7, 8). Both the first subassembly (13) and the second subassembly (14) are characterised in that they consist of a rigid element (16) which is moulded from a first thermally-conductive material and which comprise two opposing faces, namely a first face (18) and a second face (19). According to the invention, the above-mentioned first wall (10), which is moulded with the rigid element (16), is disposed beyond the first face (18) such as to extend essentially orthogonally thereto, while the second wall (11) is also disposed beyond the first face (18) such as to extend essentially orthogonally thereto, but in parallel to a fourth face (21) of the first wall (10) without being joined to same. In addition, cut-outs (23) are recessed into the first face (18) such that each cut-out forms at least one housing for a first member (9) that is used to guide the rotation of one of the opposing ends (71, 72, 81, 82) of one of the rotors (7, 8).

摘要: Certain preferred embodiments of the present invention provide an oil pump which is both light as well as compact. Accordingly, certain presently preferred embodiments disclose an oil pump having a housing comprising aluminum, and at least one mobile molded part therein. The mobile molded part being at least partially made from a sinterable composition comprising at least one austenitic iron-based alloy powder. The mobile molded part also has a heat expansion coefficient, which amounts to at least 60% of the heat expansion coefficient for the oil pump housing.

摘要: Disclosed is a liquid ring pump with one or several stages, each of which comprises a working chamber, an impeller that is eccentrically mounted therein, flat control disks that axially delimit the working chamber on both sides, and ducts or chambers that are located adjacent to the control disks and deliver and discharge the transport gas to and from the working chamber. The inventive liquid ring pump is characterized in that the control disks are embodied in the same manner with identical suction ports and pressure ports while ports that are not needed are covered on the side facing away from the impeller.

摘要: A method of manufacturing herringbone gears using an injection molding process is provided. The process involves the use of two separable mold halves each of which include a mold cavity for molding one half of the gear. Moldable material is injected into the mold halves when they are in a sealing abutting engagement. After the material solidifies, the mold halves are separated and the gear is simultaneously unscrewed from each mold cavity.
