    Abstract: A resin gear includes a web with a side surface on which a first annular rib and a second annular rib are formed to be concentric with a boss. The web has an inner web portion coupling the first annular rib to the second annular rib, and an outer web portion coupling the second annular rib to a rim. The inner web portion is formed to have a thickness gradually reduced from one intersection point toward another intersection point, the intersection points being intersection points of a virtual radial direction line passing through a center of the boss with the second annular rib. The first annular rib has a side surface on which only one gate mark of an injection molding is formed at a position on a radially outer side with respect to a first tooth portion and a position biased to the other intersection point on the virtual radial direction line.

    Abstract: Provided is a method for manufacturing a gear wheel, the method including: preparing an insertion unit formed of a steel material having a hollow pipe shape; injection-molding an outer side unit including teeth on an outer circumference; and molding a connection unit having a wheel shape by injecting resin into at least three points between the insertion unit and the outer side unit so as to connect the insertion unit and the outer side unit after arranging the insertion unit on the inner center of the outer side unit. According to the method, removing of an unnecessarily injected portion may be omitted since the resin is injected between the insertion unit and the outer side unit while injection-molding the connection unit. Also, productivity is increased by decreasing a number of defective products generated due to cracks.

    Abstract: The grip is comprised of a deformable cover formed of a thermoplastic material which is stable and semi-rigid at normal ambient temperatures and is soft and deformable when heated in boiling water. The cover is attached to an implement handle heated and deformed to the shape required by a specific implement user. The method of forming the grip includes the steps of coating the implement handle with a cover material, heating the implement handle until the material has become softened, and grasping an implement handle while the cover is soft and deformable, thereby causing the cover to be molded to a user's specific shape. The high coefficient of friction and the moldability of the material results in a superior grip.
