摘要: A spectral imaging apparatus includes an image sensor positioned to capture images of a target, a rotating color wheel aligned with the image sensor, and a projector positioned to project overlay images onto the target. The color wheel can include one or more filter segments, each allowing light of a different range of wavelengths to pass. The color wheel can further include a blocking or opaque segment. A set of captured images of the different wavelengths can be processed to generate a false-color overlay image for projection onto the target. Processing of overlay images can be performed when the blocking or opaque segment is in front of the image sensor. The spectral imaging apparatus may be a multi-spectral imaging apparatus and made be used in the medical fields, such as for determining and indicating tissue oxygenation. Video rates can be achieved.

摘要: A method, medium, and apparatus extracting avatar parameters using an avatar transformation algorithm from health state information measured from a user and generating an avatar using the extracted parameters. In the apparatus, a state analysis unit receives at least one among a bio-signal and questionary information of a user and outputs health state information, a parameter extraction unit extracts parameters defining an avatar image, and an avatar generation unit generates the avatar image using the parameters. By providing the method, medium, and apparatus, it is possible to provide a user with a convenience in recognizing his health state by generating an avatar image describing the user's future health state as well as the user's current health state. Further, it is possible to induce a user to manage his health constantly by maintaining a user's with the avatar image change.

摘要: A UV exposure dosimetry system includes at least one UV sensor that accurately measures the UV irradiance intensity. The UV dosimetry system integrates the measured UV irradiance intensity over time to calculate the real-time UV dosage and the vitamin D production by taking into account factors comprising UV sensor location, body surface area, clothing coverage, and sunscreen usage. Based on the measurement, the system can predict the time remaining to skin burn and the time remaining to reach daily goal of vitamin D production. The system also calculates the UV index in real-time, and can crowd source the measured data in a network. The UV dosimetry system supports multi-user control through an advanced and user friendly input and output interface.
