Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration message indicating that a control resource set for a downlink control channel is associated with a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports. The UE may determine, based at least in part on the configuration message, that a first set of DMRS resource elements in a first symbol of the control resource set correspond to a first DMRS port of the plurality of DMRS ports and a second set of DMRS resource elements in a second symbol of the control resource set correspond to a second DMRS port of the plurality of DMRS ports. The UE may decode the downlink control channel based at least in part on the determining.

In some examples, the second UE may be a UE configured to receive a transmission from a third UE over the first resources. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to a fourth UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources. Additionally, or alternatively, the second UE may be a UE that received sidelink control information from the third UE indicating the resources for transmission by the third UE to a fourth UE. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to the second UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources.

The UE receives, from the BS in response to the BSR report, a grant for transmitting a first sidelink transmission to a second UE of the one or more UEs. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may support monitoring for intra-slot and intra-slot-group control channel repetitions. The UE may receive a message indicating a respective set of parameters for a first search space set and a second search space set, an indication that the first and second search space sets are linked, and a respective bitmap for each of the search space sets, where the bitmaps include a same quantity of bits. The bitmaps may indicate a quantity of slots and a location of the slots within a group of slots in which a respective search space set exists within the group of slots. As such, the UE may monitor the first and second search space sets based on the respective sets of parameters and the respective bitmaps (e.g., using monitoring occasions associated with each search space set linked based on the bitmaps).

Abstract: Wireless communication systems and methods related to utilizing two-stage grants for uplink communications with discontinuous reception (DRX) operations are provided. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) receive, from a base station (BS), a first downlink control information (DCI) message scheduling an uplink (UL) data transmission, the first DCI message indicating a first value for an UL schedule timing indicator. The UE activates a timer based at least in part on the first value of the UL schedule timing indicator. The UE monitors a downlink control channel based at least in part on the timer. The UE receives, from the BS, a second DCI message indicating UL schedule timing for the UL data transmission based at least in part on the monitoring.
