Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable storage medium are provided. The methods include receiving, from a UE, an indication of a capability of the UE associated with one or more operating modes. The methods further include transmitting, to the UE, a request for a TR report corresponding to an amount of TR locations, the amount of TR locations being associated with at least one of a PAPR gain or a UE performance gain. The methods further include receiving, from the UE, a TR report comprising an indication of the amount of TR locations based on one or more parameters, the one or more parameters including at least one of a UE speed, a Doppler spread, a delay spread, a SINR, a MCS, a rank indicating an amount of data layers, or a channel response, the amount of TR locations being associated with the one or more operating modes.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communications device may transmit a first signal. The first signal may be transmitted from a first antenna array of the communications device through a lens of the communications device in a direction. An energy of a portion of the first signal may be below a threshold based on a position of a second antenna array of the communications device. The portion of the first signal may correspond to a portion of a reflection of the first signal that overlaps with the position of the second antenna array. The communications device may concurrently receive, at the second antenna array, a second signal originating from another direction, where the second signal may be focused in the direction of the second antenna array based on the lens.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for setting a resolution for an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) of a user equipment (UE) based on a modulated reference signal received from a base station (BS) during a first (for example, initial) symbol period of a slot. In one aspect, the first symbol period of the slot and a cyclic prefix (CP) of the first symbol period may be relatively longer in time than other symbol periods and other CPs of the slot and, in some implementations, the BS may transmit a configuration to the UE allocating a portion of the first symbol period for the transmission of the modulated reference signal. The UE may demodulate the modulated reference signal, calibrate an automatic gain control (AGC) of the UE, and set the resolution of the ADC of the UE based on the modulated reference signal.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described, including a movable relay location variance report. The movable relay location variance report may enable more robust and accurate communications between a control node (e.g., a user equipment (UE) and a base station) and a movable relay (e.g., a drone) equipped with a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). In some aspects, the location variance report may characterize the variance of the drone's location and transmit the information to the UE, the base station, or both. The location variance report may influence the control node beam width, the drone location, and an angle at which the drone may position a RIS. The control node may indicate an adjusted set of parameters to the drone based on receiving the location variance report.

A communication device may receive control signaling indicating a downlink reference signal configuration, for example, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) configuration. Abstract: Aspects of disclosure relate to a UE reporting to a gNB time delays and phases of pilot signals received via multiple transmission paths in order for the gNB to pre-equalize a future transmission to the UE. The UE determines a first time delay for receiving a first pilot signal from a gNB via a first path, determines a second time delay for receiving a second pilot signal from the gNB via a second path, and generates a report based on the first time delay and the second time delay. The UE then sends the report to the gNB and receives a multi-TRP signal from the gNB via the first path and the second path, wherein the multi-TRP signal is pre-equalized for transmission based on the report to at least have a same time delay as a shorter one of the first time delay or the second time delay.
