Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices and systems for generating enhanced trigger frames. Some implementations more specifically relate to trigger frame designs that support gains in data throughput achievable in accordance with the IEEE 802.11be amendment, and future generations, of the IEEE 802.11 standard. In some implementations, an enhanced trigger frame may be used to solicit a non-legacy trigger-based (TB) physical layer protocol convergence protocol (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) from one or more wireless stations (STAs). In some implementations, the enhanced trigger frame may be configurable to support multiple versions of the IEEE 802.11 standard. For example, an enhanced trigger frame may be configured in accordance with a legacy trigger frame format or a non-legacy trigger frame format. Thus, when configured in accordance with the legacy trigger frame format, the enhanced trigger frame can also be used to a legacy TB PPDU from one or more STAs.

Abstract: An access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) is associated with a first communication link, and one or more secondary APs of the AP MLD are associated with one or more respective secondary communication links of the AP MLD. The first AP of the AP MLD generates a frame including a first change sequence field, one or more secondary change sequence fields, and a critical update flag subfield. The first change sequence field carries a value of the most-recent critical update for the first AP. The one or more secondary change sequence fields carry values of the most-recent critical updates for the one or more respective secondary APs. The critical update flag subfield carries an indication of a change in value of at least one of the secondary change sequence fields. The first AP transmits the frame over the first communication link of the AP MLD.

Abstract: A first access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) is associated with a first communication link, and one or more secondary APs of the AP MLD are associated with one or more respective secondary communication links of the AP MLD. The first AP of the AP MLD generates a frame including a first change sequence field and one or more secondary change sequence fields. The first change sequence field indicates a presence or absence of a critical update associated with the first communication link, and each of the one or more secondary change sequence fields indicates a presence or absence of a critical update associated with a corresponding secondary communication link of the AP MLD. The first AP of the AP MLD transmits the frame over the first communication link of the AP MLD to a station (STA) of a STA MLD.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured to identify interference information associated with at least one traffic stream. The apparatus is further configured to transmit a message to an access point. The message includes a stream ID associated with the interference information and with the at least one traffic stream. The message includes the interference information, and the interference information includes an offset value and an interval/duration value.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for techniques for end-to-end operations between a first wireless station (STA) and a second STA via a wireless access point (AP). Some aspects more specifically relate to indicating one or more quality of service (QOS) parameters to the AP, sharing transmission opportunities (TXOPs) between the first STA and the AP, or both. In some examples, the first STA may identify one or more QoS parameters and may transmit, to the AP, an indication of the one or more QoS parameters, such that the AP may configure the second STA with the one or more QoS parameters. Additionally, or alternatively, the first STA may obtain a TXOP and may share the TXOP with the AP, such that the AP may use the shared TXOP to forward a message received from the first STA to the second STA.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for discovery signaling for seamless roaming. Some aspects more specifically relate to indicating or advertising information associated with a single mobility domain (SMD) and information associated with access point (AP) devices that support seamless roaming. In some implementations, an AP device or a multi-link device (MLD) may transmit parameters associated with the SMD MLD to advertise information of the SMD MLD. In some implementations, the AP device or MLD may advertise candidate AP devices, which may support the seamless roaming. A non-MLD device, such as a wireless station (STA), may request additional information for a candidate AP device that supports seamless roaming. The AP device may transmit a response to the request indicating a portion of a profile of the candidate AP device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for enhancements to request to send (RTS) and clear to send (CTS) exchanges. A first wireless device may receive a beacon frame indicating for the first wireless device to monitor a first channel for a first frame that schedules communication via one or more channels. The first wireless device may receive, from a second wireless device, the first frame indicating a channel bandwidth and a puncturing pattern of multiple available puncturing patterns for the channel bandwidth. The puncturing pattern may be associated with a first subset of a set of multiple channels of the channel bandwidth. The first wireless device may transmit, to the second wireless device, a second frame indicating that a second subset of channels is available and may receive one or more data packets via the second subset of channels.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for managing a multi-traffic identifier (TID) and multi-link block acknowledgment (BA) negotiation scheme. In some aspects, to negotiate a setup session between wireless communication devices, a first wireless communication device may transmit a request message including an information container that includes one or more negotiation parameter sets each associated with a type of traffic. For example, a type of traffic may correspond to a TID or a resource reservation for a particular traffic flow. Each negotiation parameter set may indicate functionalities being negotiated for the setup session. In association with the negotiation, a second wireless communication device may transmit a response message to the first wireless communication device that includes values for the negotiation parameter sets. For example, the response message may include an acknowledgment (ACK) indicating an acceptance of one or more of the parameter sets for the setup session.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for wireless communication that can be used to establish a restricted target wake time (TWT) session on a wireless medium. In some implementations, an access point (AP) establishes a restricted TWT session for one or more wireless stations (STAs) associated with latency sensitive traffic, the restricted TWT session including restricted TWT service periods (SPs) during which the AP reserves access to the wireless medium for only the one or more STAs associated with the latency sensitive traffic. The AP transmits a clear-to-send (CTS) frame at a start of each restricted TWT SP, the CTS frame indicating to other STAs that the wireless medium is unavailable for a duration of the respective restricted TWT SP. The AP transmits latency sensitive data to or receives latency sensitive data from the one or more STAs during at least one of the restricted TWT SPs.
