    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a capability to perform a beam refinement procedure that includes receiving multiple reference signals, via multiple beams using frequency division multiplexing, during a single reference signal burst. The UE may receive the multiple reference signals during the single reference signal burst using frequency division multiplexing. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques may enable a network entity to apply an irregular (e.g., non-uniform) cyclic prefix (CP) to symbols of a slot for a downlink transmission to a user equipment (UE). In some examples, the UE or the network entity may measure one or more reference signals to estimate a channel impulse response (CIR) and therefore calculate a relatively small CP length for physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmissions. The network entity may use the relatively small CP length for one or more symbols of a first symbol group dedicated for PDSCH transmissions, and may use a longer CP length for one or more symbols of an additional symbol group dedicated for other transmissions (e.g., to allow the network entity to configure beam changes in each symbol in the additional symbol group).

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. Various aspects relate generally to labeling of modulation constellations. Some aspects more specifically relate to signaling to support selection of labeling configurations of modulation constellations. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) transmits capability information indicating one or more capabilities relating to selection of a labeling configuration that indicates labels for symbols of a modulation constellation. A network node may transmit an indication of a labeling configuration in accordance with the capability information. The labeling configuration, in some examples, may include a Gray labeling configuration that is configured to improve polar coding performance.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit neural network (NN) capability information to a network entity. The network entity may train the NN model by selecting a NN-based precoder and generating associated coefficients. The network entity may transmit an indication of the precoder coefficients to the UE. The network entity may transmit demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) that have not been precoded and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) signal that has been narrowband-precoded according to the indicated precoder. The UE may then perform and input a channel estimation to the NN model. The NN model may output the narrowband precoder, which the UE may use to generate a narrowband channel estimate and demodulate the narrowband precoded PDSCH signal. In some examples, the network entity may update NN coefficients and may indicate the updated NN coefficients to the UE.
