    Abstract: In one novel aspect, configurations for PDCCH transmission and reception with multiple transmission points are provided. The UE configures a PDCCH associated with a CORSET comprising multiple CCEs, partitions the CORSET into multiple TCI-state sets, wherein each TCI state set includes multiple CCE groups associated with corresponding TCI-state, which corresponds to a source TRP, activates one TCI state set, and receives DCI via the PDCCH, wherein the PDCCH is transmitted from at least the first source TRP and the second source TRP, and wherein each source TRP transmits corresponding portion of DCI data mapping to the corresponding first and second CCE group. The CORSET is partitioned in FDM or TDM way. In another novel aspect, a first and a second PDCCH associated with a first and a second TRP are configured for repetition transmission. The second PDCCH configuration is dependent upon the first PDCCH configuration.

A user equipment (UE) receives a signal indicating codebook subset restriction (CBSR) from a network node of a wireless network. The UE selects one or more codewords or a codebook from a master codebook based on the CBSR. The master codebook includes codewords from multiple components. The UE then performs a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission to the network node using the one or more codewords or the codebook.

A user equipment (UE) receives a first signal from a network node of a wireless network, with the first signal selecting one or more codewords or a codebook from a plurality of different codebooks within a master codebook as allowed precoders at transmission ranks. The UE also receives a second signal from the network node, with the second signal selecting a precoder among the allowed precoders for uplink (UL) transmission. The UE then processes data using the selected precoder and performs an UL transmission of the processed data to the network node.

    Abstract: Techniques and examples pertaining to linear combination codebook design and channel state information (CSI) feedback in mobile communications are described. Frequency-dependent parameterization is supported to reduce signaling overhead in reporting beam selection and to enhance CSI resolution. Additionally, the number of candidates for beam selection depends on the strength of each beam to be selected such that more candidates are considered for a stronger beam than for a weaker beam. Moreover, amplitude quantization and/or phase quantization for beams of different strengths are different to reduce quantization error.

    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE obtains M1 modulated symbols to be transmitted on a selected section of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) of the UE, the M1 modulated symbols being for carrying a first category of uplink information. The UE maps J1 modulated symbols of the M1 modulated symbols to occupy each one of J1 resource elements (REs) that are available, in a consecutive (N1−1) symbol periods of the selected section of the PUSCH, for carrying modulated symbols that carries the first category of uplink information. The UE determines a number S1 based on K1 and a number T1. The UE maps K1 modulated symbols of the M1 modulated symbols to occupy K1 REs of the T1 REs such that two adjacent REs among the K1 REs being separated by at least (S1−1) REs.

    Abstract: A method of interference cancellation is proposed. A UE obtains configuration information of a data transmission from a neighboring cell via an interference channel in a mobile communication network. The UE receives radio signals on a set of data resource elements as determined based on the obtained configuration information. The UE then estimates the interference channel corresponding to the data transmission from the neighboring cell based on the received radio signals on the set of data resource elements. Finally, the UE cancels the data transmission from the neighboring cell based on the estimated interference channel.
