    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for handover between secondary base stations, a network device, and user equipment. The network device instructs each of at least one candidate secondary base station to make a prior path handover preparation, so that each of the at least one candidate secondary base station waits to be selected by user equipment as a target secondary base station. The path handover preparation includes at least one of the following: preconfiguring an access resource for the user equipment or establishing a data transmission channel with the network device. The user equipment is handed over to the target secondary base station in the at least one candidate secondary base station according to configuration information of each of the at least one candidate secondary base station when the user equipment needs path handover.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a hybrid automatic repeat request method and a terminal device. The method includes: obtaining a first uplink grant (UL grant) sent by a base station, where the first uplink grant is carried in a media access control MAC message; transmitting uplink data based on the first uplink grant, and starting a first timer; starting a second timer after the first timer expires; and listening to a physical downlink control channel PDCCH based on the second timer. According to the hybrid automatic repeat request method and the terminal device in the embodiments of the present invention, electricity can be saved, and a retransmission delay can be reduced.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method used for random access, including: receiving, by a terminal, random access preamble information sent by a base station; and before sending random access to the base station based on the random access preamble information, receiving, by the terminal, a random access response sent by the base station, where the random access response includes an uplink asynchronous hybrid automatic repeat request HARQ process identifier, and the uplink asynchronous HARQ process identifier is used by the terminal to send uplink data to the base station. Compared with the prior art, the communication method provided in the embodiments of the present invention can ensure to some extent that uplink data is transmitted timely and can effectively improve uplink data transmission reliability.

The transmission resource obtaining method includes: receiving first configuration information sent by an base station, and obtaining request resources based on the first configuration information, where the request resources include a scheduling request (SR) resource and a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource; determining a target request resource from the request resources based on time information of user equipment, where the target request resource includes the SR resource and/or the PRACH resource; and sending an uplink resource request to the base station by using the target request resource. The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention help improve uplink transmission resource obtaining efficiency.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a system for implementing data scheduling are provided. By adopting the method, the apparatus, and the system in embodiments of the present invention, a BSR is generated when uplink data that needs to be sent exists; and by using the BSR and correspondence between a logical channel and a base station, a UE can transmit the uplink data on a logical channel that corresponds to a base station, thereby avoiding a problem that data cannot be processed because a radio resource and a logical channel correspond to different base stations, so that the UE can transfer data to be uploaded to a correct base station corresponding thereto, which greatly improves efficiency of data scheduling in a mode of carrier aggregation between base stations.

    Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention relates to a multimedia broadcast multicast communication method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a base station, first indication information at a first time, where the first indication information instructs the base station to suspend transmitting service data in a multimedia broadcast multicast service MBSFN manner; and sending, by the base station, second indication information to user equipment UE according to the first indication information, so that the UE suspends, at a second time according to the second indication information, receiving the service data in the MBSFN manner. The first time is earlier than the second time, and duration between the first time and the second time is less than a multicast control channel MCCH modification period. The user equipment is notified in a more timely manner to suspend transmitting the service data in the MBSFN manner.
