The crystal layer includes a birefringent crystal for changing phase delay effect in accordance with the orientation of the crystal axis thereof. The polarizing layer includes at least one linear polarizer such that an incident light after hitting a display module of the display device reflects and emits out through the linear polarizer and the crystal layer sequentially as reflection light in form of circularly polarized light or elliptically polarized light. The assembly of the crystal layer and the layer are installed to the display device and/or touch screen display in such a manner that the assembly is located on the display module thereof.

摘要: An image-based detecting system for traffic parameters first sets a range of a vehicle lane for monitoring control, and sets an entry detection window and an exit detection window in the vehicle lane. When the entry detection window detects an event of a vehicle passing by using the image information captured at the entry detection window, a plurality of feature points are detected in the entry detection window, and will be tracked hereafter. Then, the feature points belonging to the same vehicle are grouped to obtain at least a location tracking result of single vehicle. When the tracked single vehicle moves to the exit detection window, according to the location tracking result and the time correlation through estimating the information captured at the entry detection window and the exit detection window, at least a traffic parameter is estimated.

摘要: An LED-based lighting apparatus includes a plurality of LED-based lighting segments connected in series with a current control device. Each lighting segment has at least one LED-based lighting unit connected in series. A plurality of switch controllers controlled by a switching voltage comparator unit is connected with the plurality of LED-based lighting segments to provide multiple operation modes for turning on different number of LED-based lighting segments. In one embodiment, each switch controller is connected in parallel with a corresponding segment. The switching voltage comparator unit generates a propagation signal that propagates through and controls the plurality of switch controllers. In the other embodiment, each switch controller is connected between a positive end of the corresponding segment and a current control device. The switching voltage comparator unit generates two propagation signals that propagate through and control the plurality of switch controllers.

摘要: A touch sensor mechanism for a touch display device, includes a cover lens made by a transparent material having a dielectric constant greater than 4.5 and a compression strength greater than 700 MPa for generating a finger's touching capacitance (CF) while a user's finger of a user touch thereon; and a sensor device module including a plurality of sensor devices having a sensor parasitic capacitance (CP). The cover lens and the sensor device module are disposed in the touch display device in such a manner that a ratio of a standard deviation value (σU) of the finger's touching capacitance (CF) of the cover lens to the sensor parasitic capacitance (CP) of the sensor device module is a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The SNR is adjusted along with the finger's touching capacitance (CF) by reducing the thickness of the cover lens.

摘要: A wireless radio frequency identification receiving facility having antenna net includes a receiving apparatus with receiving spaces for receiving objects, a leaking-waved antenna net unit, and a first antenna. The leaking-waved antenna net unit includes an inner main antenna and extension antennas extended to the regions adjacent to the receiving spaces. The first antenna receives the detecting signal from a reader unit and generates a current. The EM wave is generated while the current flows through the leaking-waved antenna net unit, and is transmitted along extension antennas. The radio frequency identification electronic tags on the objects are triggered by the electromagnetic field built up by the EM wave, and information of all objects in the receiving apparatus is read at one time, so that the checking time is greatly reduced and the possibility of lost and position mistake of object can be excluded.

摘要: A package structure includes a thin chip substrate, a stabilizing material layer, a chip and a filling material. A first circuit metal layer of the substrate is inlaid into a dielectric layer and a co-plane is defined by the first circuit metal layer and the dielectric layer and is exposed from the dielectric layer. The bonding pads of the substrate are on the co-plane, have a height higher than the co-plane and connected to the first circuit metal layer. The stabilizing material layer is provided on two sides of the co-plane to define a receiving space for accommodating the chip. The filling material is injected into the receiving space to fasten the pins of the chip securely with bonding pads. Since no plastic molding is required, a total thickness of the package structure and the cost is reduced. The stabilizing material layer prevents the substrate from warping and distortion.

摘要: An apparatus for driving LEDs using high voltage includes a plurality of LEDs divided into a plurality of LED segments connected in series and a plurality of three-terminal voltage controlled current limiting devices. Each of the current limiting devices is associated with one of the LED segments and has a first terminal connected to a negative end of the associated LED segment, a second terminal applied with a bias voltage and a third terminal connected to a common node. A current source is connected between the common node and ground. A power-loss reduction circuit having a plurality of LEDs controlled by an LED controlling circuit may further be inserted between the common node and the current source to reduce the power loss in the current source because of the high voltage at the common node.
