    摘要: An automated multi-speed transmission includes an engine clutch operable to establish a releasable drive connection between the engine and an input shaft, an output shaft adapted to transfer power to the driveline, and a synchromesh geartrain having a plurality of constant-mesh gearsets that can be selectively engaged to establish a plurality of forward and reverse speed ratios. The transmission also includes power-operated dog clutches for selectively engaging the constant-mesh gearsets, and a controller for controlling coordinated actuation of the engine clutch and the power-operated dog clutches. The power-operated dog clutch associated with the low and the top gear are used during downshifts and upshifts, respectively, to actuate a clutch assembly for synchronizing the speed of the input shaft and the selected gear prior to engagement of its corresponding dog clutch.

    摘要: A mesh type automatic transmission is equipped with a plurality of shift gears arranged to rotate freely to an output shaft for providing driving force to the wheels. Cogged clutches 12, 15 engage with the output shaft. Counter shift gears corresponding to each speed are fixed to a counter shaft rotated by the rotation of an input shaft and mesh with the shift gears for performing automatic shifting by controlling engagement of one of the cogged clutches with the voluntary shift gears determined from the accelerator command value and the vehicle speed. An assist mechanism transmits rotational force of the input shaft to the output shaft via the assist shaft which rotates from the rotation of the counter shaft when no cogged clutch of the plurality of cogged clutches is engaged with any of the plurality of shift gears occurring during switching when an engaged cogged clutch of the plurality of cogged clutches is disengaged and one of the cogged clutch of the plurality of cogged clutches is to be engaged.

    摘要: A method of returning an electro-mechanical axial setting device, wherein the axial setting device includes two setting rings centered on a common axis, one of which is axially held, and one of which is rotationally fixedly held in a housing. The two setting rings each include circumferentially extending grooves. Each of the grooves define a depth which rises in the circumferential direction. Pairs of grooves in the setting rings each accommodate a ball. The rotatingly drivable setting ring is connected to an electric drive motor. The axially displaceable setting ring is loaded by pressure springs towards the axially held setting ring. When applying a positive voltage to the electric motor, the axial setting device moves into an advanced position and when the voltage is disconnected from the electric motor, the axial setting device is returned into a starting position.

    摘要: A synchronizer for a manual transmission comprises a clutch hub rotated along with an input shaft, a clutch sleeve assembled for performing rotation with the clutch hub to move toward the input shaft and a synchronizer ring formed for meshing with the clutch sleeve when the clutch sleeve moves to be synchronized with driving gears by friction, synchro-lever formed with an upper portion thereof closely attached to a groove of the clutch sleeve and a lower portion thereof positioned at the lateral surface of the clutch hub when its portion is accommodated into a key slot of the clutch hub to thereby occur a synchronizing operation with the driving gear by pushing the synchronizing ring positioned at one side thereof when tilted clockwise or counter-clockwise by being caught on the clutch hub in moving toward the input shaft, and an accommodating part formed as a space among the clutch hub, the synchronizer ring and the driving gear for letting the synchro-lever rotate at a predetermined angle to get a portion thereof in contact with the synchronizer ring, thereby simplifying the structure of the synchronizer to improve efficiency of assembling tasks and improving the changing-speed feeling for forward and backward changing-speed operations.

A first connection spline formed in the outer circumferential wall face of the recess and a first synchronization spline formed in the outer circumferential face of the synchronizer ring have a predetermined overlap portion, whereby they overlap partly in the axial direction. In the fifth gear, a second connection spline meshes with the first connection spline and a second synchronization spline presses the first synchronization spline in the axial direction to make the synchronizer ring and the first gear come into frictional engagement with each other.

It is proposed that upon a demand for a double downshift, a gear step change occurs within the same dividing gear (6) without the other dividing gear (10) transmitting during the gear step change a torque from the prime mover (4) to the output, and that the torque delivered by the prime mover (4) during the gear step change is essentially used for the acceleration of rotary masses on the side of the prime mover.
