    Abstract: A low-temperature vacuum cooking device and a cooking appliance including low-temperature vacuum cooking device are provided. The cooking appliance may include a housing including a container mount and a vacuum-packing module mount provided adjacent to each other, a first container having a space to accommodate a liquid therein, the first container being configured to be coupled with the container mount, a heater that heats the liquid accommodated in the first container, a vacuum pressure generator installed on the vacuum-packing module mount to suction air inside a food packing bag, a sealer installed adjacent to the vacuum pressure generator that heats the food packing bag in order to seal it, a cover rotatably installed on the housing to cover or open the first container and the vacuum pressure generator, and a high-temperature cooking unit including a top plate and a high-temperature heater provided at a lower portion of the top plate.

    Abstract: Packaging (10) in flexible material, comprising a supporting base (11) wherefrom two opposite side walls (12) rise up, each one sealed to a half-perimeter (13) of the base (11) and sealed one to the other along respective side edges (14) and along the upper edge with a head sealing (16), characterised in that in an intermediate area of the packaging (10) at least one continuous transverse sealing (17) is provided, suitable for dividing the interior of the packaging (10) into two separate chambers, a lower chamber (20) and an upper chamber (21), suitable for containing two different components of a product to be heated and brought into contact at the time of consumption, said transverse sealing (17) being such as to open when a certain pressure is reached in said lower chamber (20), thus forming a single chamber inside the packaging (10).

    Abstract: The present invention provides a peelable laminate suitable for cook-in packaging and a method of cooking a food product. The method includes the steps of:a) enclosing a food product in the peelable laminate, the peelable laminate having(1) an edible film in contact with the food product, and(2) a protective film peelably adhered to the edible film; andb) heating the enclosed food product to at least partially cook the food product, the edible layer adhering to the at least partially cooked food product with an adhesive strength which is greater than the force required to peel the protective film from the edible film. In this manner, the protective film can be peeled from the edible film after cooking without product loss due to adherence of food particles to the film. Furthermore, the peelable laminate prevents or minimizes cook-out and allows a modifier to be transferred to the food product via the edible film during the cooking process.
