摘要: In a first aspect, a communication control method is a communication control method in a boundary IAB node. The boundary IAB node has RRC connection with a first IAB donor for controlling a first IAB topology and RRC connection with a second IAB donor for controlling a second IAB topology. The boundary IAB node has F1 connection with the first IAB donor, and does not have F1 connection with the second IAB donor. The communication control method includes receiving BAP header rewriting configuration information from the first IAB donor, receiving a BAP packet from a lower IAB node, performing BAP header rewriting processing for the BAP packet received, based on header information of the BAP packet and the BAP header rewriting configuration information, and performing routing, via the second IAB topology, of the BAP packet for which the BAP header rewriting processing has been performed.

These techniques include establishing a first virtual private network (VPN) connection between a first base station and a VPN host and a second VPN connection between a second base station and the VPN host. The techniques further include receiving a request at the first base station from a first mobile device and determining, using the first VPN connection, that the first mobile device does not have a recognized associated identifier, and in response assigning a mobile subscriber identifier. The techniques further include routing a first cellular communication from the first base station to the first mobile device using the identifier, receiving a second cellular communication at the first base station from the first mobile device, and routing the second cellular communication to at least one of: (i) the second base station using the second VPN connection or (ii) an external communication network.

摘要: A method and network node for backhaul link failure recovery are disclosed. A network node is configured to attempt to find an alternative backhaul link to replace the failed backhaul link. If the attempt to find an alternative backhaul link fails, then the network node communicates a first indication of an existence of the failure to the first child network node one level below the network node affected by the failure and causes the first child network node to find another network node to serve as a new parent network node. If the first child network node finds another node to serve as the new parent network node then the network node is configured to serve as a second child network node of the first child network node so that the first child network node serves as a parent of the network node.

摘要: A software defined network (SDN) can add network repository functions (NRF) into a configurations database to enable NF discovery. The SDN can subscribe to NRF notifications to receive new cloud native functions (CNF), registrations, or any other update to the CNF status in 5G system. In addition to listening to NRF notifications, the SDN can implement CNF pooling processes to periodically retrieve CNF from an NRF repository and stay in sync with 5G systems. Thus, a deep service path discovery can be developed from network service configurations and container call flows to enable an accurate alarm correlation and troubleshooting for the operations. This service path deep discovery can be designed and implemented as a standalone system or in an SDN framework with integration of a container management framework such as K8 kubernetes.

摘要: A method may include monitoring, by a source user equipment communicating with a destination user equipment by an indirect communication path via a relay user equipment, sidelink control information from the relay user equipment. The method may also include determining a first set of conditions and a second set of conditions based on the sidelink control information received from the relay user equipment. The method may further include transmitting, when the first set of conditions is met, at least one of a first sidelink message to the destination user equipment according to a first pattern, or a second sidelink message to the relay user equipment according to a second pattern. In addition, the method may include monitoring a sidelink feedback from the destination user equipment to the relay user equipment when the second set of conditions is met according to a third pattern.

摘要: Systems, devices, and techniques described herein relate to migrating a communication session from a path including a stressed user plane function (UPF) to a path including a replacement UPF. A communication session may traverse a first path including the first UPF. After establishing the communication session, the first UPF may be determined to be stressed. In response, the communication session can be proactively migrated to a second path including a second UPF. According to various implementations, the existing communication session can be maintained during the migration, thereby substantially eliminating interruptions caused by the stressed first UPF.
