Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for programmatically mapping workloads for storage in different classes of a networked computer data storage environment, using a set of rules or data storage hints and properties of the workloads themselves. With the set of data storage hints, metadata sets are assigned to files of the incoming workloads to the networked computer data storage environment based on the properties of the workloads. Then, a target storage class is determined for each file of the workload from the plurality of storage classes present in the networked computer data storage environment. The workload files are then mapped to a logical bucket that is associated with the plurality of storage classes through a shared namespace, with the assigned metadata set for a file cueing the filesystem modules as to which storage class within the logical bucket to direct the various files of the workload to.

Abstract: A method and non-transitory computer readable medium to access a resource. The method includes: receiving at the primary product platform associated with a primary client, a request for accessing a resource hosted by a secondary product platform independent from the primary product platform, the request received from the primary client; generating and forwarding a uniform resource locator (URL) pointing to a proxy servlet of the primary product platform to the primary client, the URL generated based on an identifier of the requested resource; receiving, from the primary client, at the proxy servlet, a request for HyperText Markup Language (HTML) data of the requested resource, retrieving, by the proxy servlet, from the secondary product platform, the HTML data of the requested resource; rewriting the HTML data; and communicating the rewritten HTML data to the primary client for rendering in a user interface.

The systems further including a server device configured to communicate over the network with the client device, the server device further including a Multi Tenant Module—Server module (MTM-Server module) having processor-readable instructions to direct at least one server device processor to detect the 5-tuple and metadata from the first stream; and search for the next stream ID for the TCP packet, and the MTM-Server module saves the 5-tuple to an in-memory cache database.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, generating first traffic for transmitting along a network path toward a recipient device, determining a schedule for transmitting the first traffic, and facilitating transmission of the first traffic along the network path using a first waveguide system. The first waveguide system has a dielectric coupler, and operates by communicating electromagnetic waves via the dielectric coupler at a physical interface of a transmission medium that propagate without utilizing an electrical return path. The electromagnetic waves are guided by the transmission medium, wherein the electromagnetic waves at least partially surround an outer surface of the transmission medium, and wherein the electromagnetic waves have a non-optical frequency range. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for speedily upgrading (e.g., via service packs) components of a storage management system, such as media agents and data agents, which may number in the thousands. The disclosed methods and systems provide a lightweight and flexible approach. Executable files such as service packs are deployed to a network-shared file system and are served on demand to each targeted host computing device to launch a data agent and/or media agent component. New service packs (e.g., upgrades) are installed on another shared drive and the connection thereto is refreshed by each targeted storage management component to begin executing the new version on demand. The resultant overall upgrade process across the storage management system may be substantially shortened, and the network burden greatly reduced.

Abstract: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine readable instructions. The instructions may cause the processor to intercept a packet from a downstream service function classifier, in which the packet includes metadata that specifies an ordered set of service functions within a service function chain to be implemented on the packet, generate a correlation cookie that associates the packet with the service function chain, and encode the correlation cookie into the packet. The instructions may also cause the processor to store the correlation cookie and the metadata in a cache to correlate the correlation cookie and the metadata and send the packet with the encoded correlation cookie to the service function provider.

Abstract: A dynamic tagging system facilitates the control, monitoring, and operation of technical components, such as virtual machines, in cloud environments. The dynamic tagging system performs an analysis on unstructured metadata tags linked to the technical components. The unstructured metadata tags may be created for technical components by authorized operators of the technical components, for instance. The dynamic tagging system may analyze an individual unstructured metadata tag or a combination of unstructured metadata tags assigned to a technical component to automatically trigger any pre-configured control, monitoring or operational actions for the technical component. As one example, the dynamic tagging system detects a trigger condition for an action trigger to perform automated electronic communications between any selected entities to convey information about the technical component.

Abstract: A sensor data processing apparatus can be coupled to multiple image sensors of different types. The apparatus determines a geolocation of areas imaged in each frame or pixel based on sensor geolocation information and encodes the geolocation information in metadata space of the corresponding frame. The apparatus is configured to align edges and/or corners of the frame with edges or corners of adjacent frames based on the geolocation information to stitch together a mosaic or panoramic image without overlapping frames. The apparatus can be figured to stitch together image frame in real time without performing feature registration and without resampling frames.
